For atheists? on the one hand it is bad, on the other it is good, or is there some dirty twist, a sort of no win scenario? i have never read a bible, and the last time i went to church the vicar clipped me round the ear hole.
If you want to find out you will seek with all your might. Then what you do not know will be given to you. All Praise The Ancient Of Days
************ M*W: This is the grand christian delusion. If this were true, then why are atheists given more truth than christians?
I believe heaven and hell are very symbolic, like most stories on the Bible are NEVER to be taken literally or historically. I´m not saying the Bible is not a good source of information, I´m just saying that you kinda have to dig into this things to really understand them; some people just prefer to dismiss it thought, is much easier.
would you want that for yourself? Wish for others, that which you would truly wish for yourself. I am saying Bible laws do apply to me, an atheist, but in a different way and without this entity of God.
Because there is no heaven or hell or reincarnation, atheistic people like Stalin can kill millions because after death it doesn't matter...there's just non-existence....it doesn't matter what good or bad deeds you do...
How? Stalin was an atheist...and he could care less how many millions he killed...because it just doesn't matter at all...
Yeah, many atheists don't have that mentality....but that mentality can easily develop from atheism....there is no karma, no rebirth, no heaven or hell, no result of good and bad deeds, etc....so who cares how many millions of people you kill?
Good Point! Christians and other Religions never kill people! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Cause & Effect has nothing to do with God. Consequences of action has nothing to do with God. Karma has nothing at all to do with God. Maybe the complete misunderstanding of that very simple fact of nature and interaction by Theists is what has led to the fact that there have been (and continues to be) more murders in "the name of God" than any other cause.
