How can i create a password to a folder in my computer?

The only option that i see (with XP) is to go into "properties" of the folder and make it private. But thats unuseful because it will become really private if i add a password to my computer user account. Thats not what i pretend.

I just want a password in the folder.

Do you know any tricks or software good fo what i want?

    thank you

From what I remember the last time I tried PGP it allowed the Encryption of Drives and I believe folders.

You could "compress" your folder contents into an archive like a zip or rar file and password that, not the most difficult encryption algorythm to protect important data but enough to stop the casual computer user from viewing your hidden porn files. (J/k, about the porn)

If you have something thats really worth securing then I would suggest going the full hog and getting an Encrypted Flash drive/pen drive as securing the information is better it not being on your computer.
