Religion in Schools: What is Taught, what isnt

You know, I think its quite sad that in our school, we are taught about many religions, but yet we do not learn about evolution. I believe evolution counts just as much as any religion. I also think that if they are going to teach religion, they should teach evolution. Any thoughts?

2nd where are you? Around here we learn about evolution and nothing of religion. That is fine by me. If one must learn crap they should do it in their own time and on their own dime. Your school/s sound in pretty bad condition. If I were you I would escape from that place before they start another inquisition and burn you at the stake.

Where are you from? I was taught Evolution. I never learned about religion in school. It actually against school policy to teach religion. You know, Seperation of Church and State.

In our school we couldd choose between ethics& morality and christianity in the 8th form. I chose christianity Ity was a lot of fun, hw I was fighting with tht priest(woman)
When she was tellin about world in 6 days, I started to tell facts about evolution and such, and how she tried to disprove tht
A lot of my questions she just couldn't explain. When we were writting essays about Jesus, I wrote it from a historical point of view and ironised about him being a god. (ahhhh sweet memories). But to be serious RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS SUX AND MUST BE BANISHED
