Most people come on this forum because they either have nothing better to do or because they can express themselves in a manner which is difficult or impossible in reality. Whether they use a single platform or multiple platforms to do it in is irrelevant. The most difficult part is if you seek reality on the internet. Then, you're merely fooling yourself.

Whoever we are in life, here we wear masks. You're all assuming that having multiple puppets automatically equates concurrent attendance and usage of. I, for example, had no way of deleting previous accounts once those characters were exhausted, hence multiple "puppets". Fenris Wolf would purposefully use one or the other but only occasionally for a specific task (remember his Marquis, was it?). Satyr has seemingly buried the Wanderer -- buried him alive? Anyway, people don't seem to understand the art of changing for different occasions. It can be a contemplative, necessary, and assertive move to change one's demeanor in mid-flight.

legitimate reasons for ID change is acceptable, concurent use of multiple user ID's however should be punished by death,

They do not use their socks to argue with themselves or 'gang up' on other members, hence they are tolerated and permitted by the mods. They are not abusing the posters or the system. Merely a means to an end.

It is their choice unless they are being a nuisance.
