djvu converter
Can anyone head me in the right direction here?
I'm stuck with a .djvu file here, and I'd love to convert it to something more manageable. I've done some searching, but have yet to find any app that specifically states that it will convert a .djvu to anything else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the .djvu file is a remnant of some file, there is no way to identify what sort of file. It belongs to a Dejavu program.

I've tried this and that software that claims to be able to do this.
None work very well.
The best I've ever been able to do is to convert it to postscript. But, that leaves me with a postscript file that I"ve never been able to convert to anything useful.
Six of one. Half a dozen of another.

If you've got Photoshop you could output it as a PDF.

As text or image?
Actually, I think that the only djvu file I have is image and not text... I tried to ocd it at some point but it was crap.
Hell. I forget what all I did, actually. It was a while ago.
I might even be thinking of my efforts to convert a pdf to another format...

As far as I recall, both I think. Usually I output in EPS then use Acrobat Distiller to compile the PDF, but as long as Photoshop can open it in the first place you should have all the requisite save options to do it straight from there. Worth a shot trying at anyrate providing you've got it, of course...
