I cant remember a very simple thing. I searched and i tried everything but i still can to it.

Here goes the problem: when i search on google (i use iexplorer, dont know if thats relevant or not) everything i type will be recorded. For example: if i search for "pocket pc" that will be recorded. So, the next time i type a word started by "p" on the google search bar, every single word i searched (started by p) will appear in a list.

So my question is: how can activate or deactivate that option?

Other question: how can i delete the stuff i searched for?

    thanks

    To delete browsing history:

    1. Click the "Tools" menu selecting "Internet Options".

    2. When the multi-tabbed "Internet Options" dialog box appears, click the "General" tab.

    3. Underneath "Browsing history" click the "Settings" button.

    4. A "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" dialog box will appear. Next to "Days to keep pages in history" enter "0".

    5. Click "OK" on the dialog boxes to close them.

To clear automatic filling of url's and web forms:

Normally, IE attempts to automatically type in web addresses after you begin typing in a few characters. Depending on your setup, IE may also try to automatically complete forms and passwords for you as well.

To turn this feature off, click the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options".

From the multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, select the "Content" tab.

    Click the "AutoComplete" button.

An "AutoComplete Settings" dialog box appears.

Now, check or uncheck the options you would like.

For example, to stop IE from automatically entering in web addresses, uncheck the "Web addresses" checkbox.

Press "OK" to close this dialog box, then "OK" to close the "Internet Options" dialog box.
