Duendy, if there were still fires burning weeks after the event, that has NOTHING to do with Thermite, as Thermite is FAST conflagration, and would burn out in seconds, not WEEKS. Thermite does not explode either, it is fast CONFLAGRATION, not EXPLOSION. But prolonged exposure to jet fuel, and the usual smouldering would account for it.

Duendy, Kerosene burns at 2000 DegC+. Nearly as hot as the Thermite reaction and there were tens of thousands of gallons of jet fuel. Don't you think people would have noticed a similar volume of Thermite mixture strapped to the supporting structures of the WTC ;-)

THERMITE povides a plausible answer.
A thermite reaction generates extraordinarily high tempratures (>2500degrees C) and provides a CREDIBLE explanation fro te fires, hot spots and MOLTEN STEEL (a BY PRODUCT of the thermite reaction) found in the collapsed buildings--they were a result of thermite detonations in te buildings' basements on 9/11'

It's possible the steel never melted. It was glowing from heat, which someone mistakenly characterized as molten, having little experience with blacksmiths one can presume.

The fires burned because there was alot to burn in an office building.



Warning signs about this attack were clearly ignored, this is where the conspiracy is. There may be a second issue regarding our response to the attack, which seems delayed. I remember it stated that Aluminium was used in the upper flaws of the towers. This was because at the time of manufacture the emphasis was on keeping the upper flaws light as the entire towers height was a great weight upon it's foundations. If it was made purely out of steel structuring, then the towers would never have been so high.

I've seen something on the television about how buildings react during Tremors, one particular one to me was interesting. It involved a building in Japan that had the builders go bankrupt part way through being build, So the last couple of flaws were cheaply constructed on the building using cheaper materials. The lower part of the building was designed to withstand tremors, the cheap part was not.

During a tremor, the top two flaws collapsed on the building. The reason they collapsed was they shook differently to the rest of the building.

It could be extrapolated that the towers with their aluminium structure above the place of impact began melting downwards and as soon as the floors started collapsing it generated a gravitation of momentum and force. Since with each floor that gave way would increase mass, it was unfortunately unstoppable and inevitable.

personally i have no interest in conspiracy or illuminate or 911, but i did read the report when i posted the link for duendy. the one thing that i did notice and that i thought was significant was the photgraph of the fireman and the steel post behind him. the report pointed out how the post had been cut and not like crumbled or collapsed. does anybody know what would make a post look like it had been cut in such a way?
