Perhaps, Brian, but it's already been done ...it's been over 60 years since it happened with the blessings of the UN. Perhaps it was wrong .....but how can you correct it now? ...without fucking up even more lives than before?

Besides, if we give the land back to the Palestinians, they'll just let all of it go to hell, anyway! Look at their lands now ...what have they accomplished in 60 yrs? ...at the same time, look at what the Israelis have accomplished.

It's probably not much different to what happened in Africa when the whites were kicked off the land. It was prosperous and fed millions of Africans ...that land now sits idle and feeds no one!

Brian, ye're from Aussieland, right? Why aren't you as adamant about Australians giving back that land to the Aborigines? Would you be the first to volunteer to move out and go to, say, Iceland? Or are you just as fuckin' hippo-critical as everyone else?

The difference is that Palestine already existed when these U.N officials decided to create Israel A.KA "occupied Palestine" on palestinian land.

Australia, as a national entity, did not exist until the white australians created it, therefore the comparison is not a very good one.

5 million Palestinians live in Hell as it is because of Zionism , they reside in overcrowded ghettoes , it could not get any worse than it is now for them .
Not much considering the Palestinians are locked into Zionisms version of the Warsaw ghetto . That and the Palestinians are under a collective punishment for daring to resist this , also their economy is under an Israel blockade .
Plenty with the $3 trillion in US aid since 1948 , US military protection as well as having complete open and unfettered access to the American and German economies . They cant lose .
I am , in fact I marched in Queensland for Aboriginal rights many times , any fool here will tell you the Aborigines are after equal rights not land , as Aboriginal lands here are extensive . All the Aborigines wish here is their right to economic equality and educational and vocational opportunities white Australians take for granted .
If so yes , but it would be either Ireland or England as my mother was Irish and my Father was born in England .
No , if the situation with Aborigines in Australia deterioated down to the level of the Zionist barbarity inflicted on the Palestinians I would
    a) Immediately take side with the oppressed .
    b) Resist my Goverment by force .
    d) Or simply just leave if the above was impossible.

Anyone with an hoest mind knows that , but , according to Baron Max and other Israel supporters here the Palestinians did not exist until after 1967 . Thereby they can safely asign this fact to the dustbin .

When Israel moved out of Gaza, what exactly did the Palestinians do?
They went around and burned down damn near every building they could find.

What could the Palestinians do ? All it meant was that their overcrowded Ghetto go a little bigger .
Are you sure about that ?
    Or this one .
As I said you have to and must posess an honest mind to appreciate Palestinian suffering .

You are talking about private homes it seems.
I am talking about, among other things, the destruction of the region's many greenhouses and businesses.

Bah. I will post more and provide links when its not Christmas night and I have a little less booze in my system.

I totally agree with that considering all the Jews that died were European Jews, not those from the Middle East where their state of Israel was created.

Regrets, but it was the Palestinians:

Jerusalem Post (about or before Sept 14, 2005)(http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satell...le/ShowFull&cid=1126578003516&p=1101615860782)

"Palestinian police on Tuesday blocked off abandoned settlements and chased after scavengers in a first attempt to impose law and order after chaotic celebrations of Israel's pullout from Gaza, but the overwhelmed forces were unable to halt looting of the area's prized greenhouses.
The greenhouses, left behind by Israel as part of a deal brokered by international mediators, are a centerpiece of Palestinian plans for rebuilding Gaza after 38 years of Israeli occupation. The Palestinian Authority hoped the high-tech greenhouses will provide jobs and export income for Gaza's shattered economy.

During a tour of Neveh Dekalim, Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei implored Palestinians to leave the structures intact, even as people scavenged through debris elsewhere in the settlement.

"These greenhouses are for the Palestinian people," he said. "We don't want anyone to touch or harm anything that can be useful for our people."

Just minutes away, crowds of looters in the Gadid settlement overwhelmed hundreds of guards trying to protect the greenhouses. Guards acknowledged that in many cases, they were unable to stop the looting.

"They are taking plastic sheeting, they are taking hoses, they are taking anything they can get their hands on," said Hamza Judeh, a Palestinian policeman.

He said about 80 percent of the greenhouses were still intact, but looters walked off with lighting fixtures, cables and wires. Many were undeterred by the police presence. Police said one man dropped his loot only after he was beaten by security forces."

    Palestinians boot Jews,
    now beg them for help
Arabs unable to reproduce successes in area greenhouses

The Palestinians who took over the Jewish greenhouses in the Gaza Strip when Israel withdrew its communities from the area now are asking expelled farmers for advice after reportedly failing to reproduce the region's famous insect-free vegetables, WND has learned.

Prior to Israel's August withdrawal, the residents of Gaza's Gush Katif slate of Jewish communities ran greenhouses known for producing high-quality insect-free vegetables. The Gush Katif gardens featured some of the most technologically advanced agricultural equipment and accounted for more than $100 million per year in exports to Europe. The greenhouses also supplied Israel with 75 percent of its own produce.

The hothouses were passed to the Palestinians in September in a $14 million deal brokered by former World Bank President James Wolfenson and several wealthy Jewish Americans.

Earlier this month, the Palestinians now running the greenhouses reportedly told the Israeli-Palestinian Economic Cooperation Fund they failed in their efforts to grow bug-free produce.

Now the Palestinian owners have asked the United States Agency for International Development, which has been involved in reconstruction efforts in Gaza, to hire former Jewish Gaza greenhouse owners as consultants for their declining vegetable businesses.

Eitan Hederi, a former Gaza farmer who represented Gush Katif residents in the Wolfenson greenhouse transfer told WND, "The Palestinians are privately turning to U.S. AID to hire us because we are experts in this kind of farming. It's a really complex process that we engineered."

Anita Tucker, an expelled Gaza resident and one of the pioneer farmers of Gush Katif, told WND, "I am not at all surprised the Palestinians are failing. When they worked in our greenhouses they needed to be monitored closely. Many didn't understand certain things, like not using different kinds of chemicals. Plus when we were in Gaza, our efforts were blessed by God."

Tucker explained she and other Katif farmers engineered agricultural technology specific to the dry, sandy Gaza conditions.

"We used different kinds of netting, also aluminum, since we knew the reflection of the sun kept bugs away," she said. "We used colors because we knew certain kinds of bugs were attracted to or kept away from different colors. We used certain organic insecticides for certain plants, and were very strict about which chemicals we used. We kept our greenhouses as clean as possible. And we also had our own proprietary inventions and technology."

Asked if she would serve as a consultant for the new Palestinian owners of her former greenhouses, Tucker said, "Probably not. We see the terror coming out of Gaza, coming out of the neighborhood I used to live in, and it's just horrible. Hamas has taken over different parts of Gush Katif and are firing rockets into Israel. I am not saying the Palestinian farmers are involved, but it seems they are not doing enough to stop the terror."

Haderi, who says he already has been asked by U.S. AID to consult on greenhouse technology, said, "I am still thinking about it. It's a very difficult decision."

Does hate trump need in the Palestinian ethos? Or is it just islam? I can almost - almost - agree that the Jews should have been settled in Europe. There, at least, they would be safe, these days.

In fact these greenhouses are flourishing under Palestinian control .

I'm afraid the link is expired. Old news, you know. I've posted in good faith. Did you have an argument against it?

"repaired scores of greenhouses left by the settlers, planted an autumn crop and are preparing to harvest an estimated $20 million worth of strawberries, cherry tomatoes, sweet peppers, and an array of herbs and spices"

Ah - preparing to harvest. Not completed, then. So it seems they had severe problems after all. I note from the same article:

"Some greenhouses were looted by Palestinians in the chaotic days after the withdrawal"

So. In fact, then, it was indeed the Palestinians and not the Israelis that damaged them. Good link.
