I have just began on my MsC degree in organic chemistry at University of Bergen. But Im pretty lost in what thesis I should choose. Should I consider what I find interesting and go for that? Or should I be careful and choose a thesis where I have to use and learn about instruments/theory that would be an advantage in later jobs?

    Any comments on that? Plz

I'd say you should be careful and choose a thesis where you have to learn to use instruments/theory that might help you later on. You could strike a compromise and still do something you find sort of interesting too.

I'm only doing my first degree in biochem and I don't have a clue where I'm going with. I hope I can get through it.

Actually that's not quite true. I've declared but I don't know if I'm going to finish. I'm doing one intro to organic chem course. If I can get through that I'll be greatful.
