I came back home in darkness with so many bandages without anybody noticing us.

I have made a vow to myself to reveal the lies of those who stole my life.

Here is the truth they are trying to conceal from you

As casualties mount in Iraq, so has the monetary cost of the war. The military is now spending more than $5.8 billion each month, top officials told Congress this week.

    ..

The Army, with about 110,000 soldiers on the ground in Iraq, has a monthly "burn rate" of $4.7 billion.

The Air Force is spending about $800 million monthly.

The Marines, which are spearheading the fighting in Fallujah, had an average monthly war cost of $300 million

The US government uses lots of methods to reduce the number of victims:

Only American soldiers are counted into the statistics, and even in this category they don't give the exact numbers

And what if we knew that the US government gave thousands of non-Americans promises of a citizenship if they fight in Iraq

and what if we knew that The US government uses thousands of American, British, and other bounty killers who work for the "special security companies" for high salaries and the US government isn't responsible for their safety

Number of killed soldiers till now: 9,500

Number of wounded soldiers till now: 24,000

    Number of deserters: 8,000

    War cost till now:
    http://costofwar.com/

Number of bounty killers in Iraq: 27,000

Number of bounty killers killed till now: 16,300

    Iraqi daily average attacks: 80-90

And u can get a look on this information yourself using this link:

I'd like to know who I'm hearing this from. What is or was your rank, sir? What branch of the military were you in? What unit were you in?

No disrespect, I just want to know, because I have no way of telling if this is really a truthful account, or someone plugging web sites. You see, I too hate lies.

But why did you go to Iraq David, sure wasn't to see any goliath I assume. By you going to Iraq you automaticaly support not only the war but the motive as well. Somewhere between all this jibirish and statistics on the war in Iraq I think most people have either forgotten that war costs a lot more than money or now assume everything is going to be okay. Now soldiers are coming home and preaching left and right, I don't even know if that is treason or a new realization...don't know, and nobody really knows whats going on in Iraq. Would you say what you did is a mistake..or maybe just plain stupid? No offence just want to know. I personaly like war, I have always been a war buff and I read books on them too. The first mantra of a soldier man..LOL is to defend your country, don't you think you would have been of better use now in Katrina? Anyway we all make mistakes, 20% of all births are mistakes. At the end of every day and every month America is still one of the best and no one can take that away.

doesnt that mean they have as much right to an oppinion as anyone else?

What are you saying devils reject, that patriotic 18 year kids from the poorer and less scholarly 2/3rds of America should know more about politics and history before they sign up? I think that every kid should have to understand the Gulf of Tonkin fraud before they are allowed to enlist but that will never happen.

Sad David please tell Bush loving fool weed eater guy who you served with, but don't expect that to satisfy him. Waving the flag and loving the war is a religion and soldiers not supporting the war is sacralidge for that religion.

Touche. such is life I guess. Life is more cowardly than the individual. Anyway if I were David I would not go on about the war the way he is doing, I would have gone to war and forgotten about everything else, no point tearing your soul to pieces.

There are more inocent patriotic kids in the pipeline. There are still voters who will vote for war. The war game geeks who dreamed up the Iraq war are still in office. I think Sad David is still a patriot and still wants to serve his country, only now he wants to do that by deglorifying war.

That's because they are PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS, not the US concern.

Sad david, what branch were you in, what was your unit, what was your rank? As much as I feel sorry for soldiers who have had to fight this amoral war, or who have been injured or maimed by it you kinda sound like a scam artist without coming out with facts like this.

Sad David, I'm not doubting you as I am a soldier in the US Army. However, I am curious to know what you mean by this number. As far as I know, only 1,896 US Troops have been killed (http://www.antiwar.com/casualties/) and about 10,000 have been wounded (including several of my friends).
