One day I was getting pissed off because people kept calling me while I was trying to cook dinner. After what turned out to be the last call, I went back to the kitchen to check on the steak I was cooking and found that the fork I was using was all bent and twisted out of shape-- like the way I felt.

Just out of idle curiosity, have you ever bent any silverware or moved
    anything through TK?

I'm always curious about one thing, what's so great about bending a spoon? I mean, I can do that with my hands, no problems.

If you can bend a spoon with your mind, it means you can move/change other objects without touching them, on various distances (depending on your skill). Why is it good to "touch" an object you can't reach? Well, there may be various circumstances.

But, because we can do many things logically and physically -- like foreseeing the future by examining the course of events in stead of dreaming it, or bending a spoon with our hands -- I think what such abilities aren't necessary and we are evolving away from them.

What is it with bending spoons? Lets get real , why don't they bend 1 inch steel plate instead of that punny crap a spoon is made of if they really want to show off their so called mental abilities. This is nothing more than a show that entertainers use to earn a living off of people with very weak minds. Anyone falling for this spoon bending hoax are really guillable.

Do you have the physical strength to bend 1" steel plate? If not, why
would you expect someone else to have a power even you don't
    have?

Granted, there are some things better suited to a machine or tool to
do, but a person with psychopyresis can start a fire in the woods witthout
matches; can you? A teek-- a telekineticist can bend spoons, sure, but
a teek can also stop the heart or clamp onto the throat of some asshole
who bothers them. Can you do somethimng like that?

It's the small things that make life fun. If a teek can't do anything other
than move a pencil through telekinesis, then it's a talent that makes at
least the teek happy. It doesn't matter if you or anyone else is
    happy or amazed.

"psychopyresis" is supernatural. A boy scout can start a fire in the woods without matches.

Yes, anyone who is strong enough can stop someone's heart or crush a trachea. Usually one leads to the other. heh.

the human mind alone (meaning without appendages/body) cannot affect anything, especially fires, hearts, and throats.

If a "teek" thinks he is moving a pencil using only his mind, he is hallucinating or lying to himself. His delusions may get stronger and he may end up in a psychiatric institution.

Ha ha ha ha! Apparently you're not using much of your mind as there are a
lot of people with telekinetic abilities as well as other psi abilities beyond
your feeble comprehension. If you choose to be ignorant, go right ahead; there are a lot of stupid people in the world and you'll have a lot of
    company.

Can you cite a single peer reviewed piece of research that validates this?
If so, would you share it with us?

Doctor you ask...." but a person with psychopyresis can start a fire in the woods without
    matches; can you?"

Yes, I can , I know how to use a piece of wood, spinning it fast, with some dry kindling on another piece of wood to create enough heat to start a fire it is called "friction". I can also start a fire with a magnifying glass of some sort, many peoples reading glasses are magnifying glasses so I also could use them.

I got news for you: I don't play games with skeptics anymore. You can do
your own research and believe what you want to believe. Or you can listen,
and even learn something. Either way, it's no skin off of my nose.

Nope don't believe I have, nor have I seen anyone validly do it either.

    In other words he doesn't.

In other words I have, but I don't give a fig enough to find them for you! Are you
incapable of doing a Google search? Or do you think I'm stupid enough to provide
you with research just so that you can sneer at the results? Either way, grow up.

    Tell you what Doc,

If telekinetic ability can be demonstrated to me by yourself or through
another person then I'll give you $5000 cash USD AND cover all travel
expenses for the purpose of the demonstration. I'll even put it into a legal
contract that we can both sign and I'll cover the expense.

That's free cash there bucko; however, using my awesome psychicic powers
I will make a prediction that this will not happen because one of the
    following:

    A) You don't want to do it.
    B) You can't do it.
    C) You'll ignore the request.

Based on my experience in the paraphysical I will say that A) is the most
likely answer. Anyone want to challenge my awesome all-powerful prediction?

And i'll throw in £1000 as well Crunchy. But i reckon B is the more likely answer
