Website: Hunt Live Animals from your computer

The Today show had an interview with a new and upcoming website www.live-shot.com .

John Lockwood, creator of the website Live-Shot.com is a website which allows web users to use a remote-controlled rifle to hunt for live game in his ranch/preserve. You can also shoot at targets. Silohettes, ect...

There is an interview on the today shows site. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032633/?ta=y

Check it out and comment. There is a bit of worry involved with this type of thing. What do you think?

Targets and silhouettes would be kinda cool (not worth the price of registering I'd imagine) but live game is definitely going too far. If man wishes to hunt then man can goddamned well pick up the carcass and drag it to town and gut it. This is removing responsibility from the 'hunter's' hands and making the taking of life, real life, a video game.

    I vote nay.
Although, maybe a remote controlled executioner would be an interesting idea. Remote control the lethal injection into some convict's veins. Prison is big business and this is another avenue open for them to suck up a little more green.

Maybe someone could setup a similar system in a slaughter house. Have cows, sheep, whatever.. An animal could be led to the guillotine by a series of gates which you have to open by clicking on them (interactive live video). At the end of the maze, the animal is in position for a final series of button clicks (head restraint)… (Chop). A site like that would make millions I tell ya.

Something tells me dr. lou won't like this too much .

I think its very stupid. Should it be illegal? I'll have to ponder that a bit.
