It seems rather silly, but a poll like this could be used to show a clear double standard bias when it comes to male homosexuality vs. female homosexuality, at least in American (or likely western in general) culture. I suppose that this specific poll isn’t exactly geared toward that, of course, and disliking gay porn doesn’t mean disliking gays, but I think you know what I’m talking about here. Every straight guy loves lesbian porn.
It seems to be a widely accepted stereotype that straight women do not get off on gay porn, but this is a perception which I seem to be finding false again and again. First off, when you’re as big a pervert as I am (that’s aside from being gay, ok? I happen to be gay and a pervert, they’re mutually exclusive!) you tend to notice that all the best gay (yes gay, not lesbian, I’m talking M/M stuff here) erotica is written or drawn by women. Aside from that, being rather hansom gay boy myself it’s not hard to get women to open up (whether invited or not) about many subjects (so many girls just feel ridiculously comfortable around gay guys, it’s almost disturbing to me how they immediately assume that we’re supposed to go together as well as Will & Grace) including the fact that they think it’d be hot to see me getting with another guy. Now I said I’m hansom, but I don’t think that there’s any shocking quality about my appearance that it might be powerful enough to sway conventional sexual norms and subvert women’s thought to take pleasure in imagined deviant fantasies.
Also, it’s been explained to me by reasonably valid sources that Japanese Yaoi (which I always thought was just Japanese Anime style gay porn) is homosexual erotica drawn by women for women, that’s depictions of male/male relationships, romantic and sexual, quite graphic in nature, written and drawn for heterosexual women by heterosexual women. Given the Japanese are very strange, and they have more robots per capita than any other nation in the world, but still I think it’s something rather interesting to consider that this form of media should be seen as acceptable and quite normally desired by heterosexual women.

i'm Gay too, and i find the top question interesting. i dont see why women wouldn't find GOOD gay porn a turn on...after all an erect man is better than the floppies that some women for women's mags have (or am i behind the times?)....i think a lot of this 'women do't like porno' argument is mor women being made to feel they should be like the virgin mary...ie., basically just there for breedin babies. not in touch with their wild side. same for many men as well

Maybe you just dreamed that you posted, that happened to me once, this other time I dreamt I played in a womens rugby league and predictably kicked serious ass. I'd tackle the shit out of them and just dominate every game. The great thing was everyone thought I was just good.
