Fear my bark
O.o.g. Okay confused Fedr did you already get rescued and if you did get your butt down here to sick bay and no funny business I want to check if you'll have permanent brain damage.
Fear my bark
O.o.g. same with all of you who are on this ship who have been hurt, damn it man im a docter not your mother.
kitt, this isn't actually star trek. Its fine to use the ship designs for your own ship. But we are trying as hard as possible to keep from going into already existing science fiction stories out there.

stray, we decided to go back to the old storyline on earth since the whole endeavour thing isn't working out. So you may want to read the same summary of events I gave to kitt on the other page. You can either keep the old character or get a new one, as well as a ship.

Each fireteam was sent to a region as directed by the squad's lieutenant.
"Okay, we've got the base four miles north of these cliffs, if shogun's staying close to the base then this is probably where he is hiding out." the sergeant said
"Set it up" the sergeant said.
"Yes sir" the lance corporal said. He brought out a large black metal case and openned it up like a large briefcase and layed it out butterfly style. He pulled up the screen on one half and took out a key and used it to turn it on. He then took out several vacuum tube antennas and attached two different kinds into holes on that side of the case. They lit up and glowed. After flipping some switches and calibrating the tubes the lance corporal said "electronic radio package at the ready sir"
"Good, Marquez, Hunt, you two get out the thermal imagers and when it gets dark go out and see what you can find" Webb said
"Yes sir" the two corporals said
They removed several cases from the transport and unpacked some equipment. They also took out a camo net and threw it over the transport.
As the three others were setting up camp on a secluded spot ontop of the cliff I climbed the highest tree I could and got to a rather comfortable spot ontop and I took out my binoculars. They were pretty damn large and bulky, but its target designator and thermal imager definitely made up for it.
I looked at the base and just looked around to get a good idea of direction. Other then the lack of deserts this planet is pretty close to where I grew up. You didn't get to be in the 3rd platoon because you are a hardened veteran and were experienced in reading terrain. You got into the 3rd platoon because you were born for it, literally, I was born in a nomadic tribe on a desert planet, I got into the 3rd platoon because on the test I was given a bottle of water and a lighter and told to go from one end of a desert to the other in two weeks. That's why were the best at what we do, better then even the old super soldiers, you can learn how to fight on any terrain, you can even be programmed for it, but we were born for it.
If shogun's here, we'll find him.
"So where are we right now?" I asked
Well, the easy answer was that I was in a meeting with my S1 (intel), S2 (planning), S3 (logistics), S4 (Personnel), and S5 (R&D). They were the staff for I corps. But that wasn't the question, and these people wouldn't have gotten this far if they were dumb enough to give the easy answer.
"We lost 34% of our overrall strength during the Terran theatre, the first, second, and third divisions are tied up with trying to repair all the damage done by the holians. The fourth and fifth divisions are trying to keep some amount of security, but its a tough job and they are undermanned. The second and third division reported that they still have not received their tanks that were sent to Delta during the evacuation. Yet on file the tanks left Delta on the first transports here." The S3 said
"Well, they're long gone now, some other division or corps obviously decided they wanted them more and they "borrowed", we won't be seeing our armor back anytime soon." The S1 said
I nodded in agreement.
I turned to my S4 "What about recruitment?" I asked
"That's the good news. Apparently we had been dubbed "heroes of Terra" by the media when everyone was on Delta." he said tossing over a paper to me.
Sure enough on the front page was a picture of four nano soldiers with their guns in their arms and a whole article about "how we were the guardians of earth that lived in the shadows and hidden until we came out of nowhere and attacked the enemy tooth and nail." Almost word for word.
I felt quite a bit of pride at this. And then I got to the section about the commander. I noticed everyone looking at me so I closed it, put it to the side and asked "so what does this have to do with it?"
"Well sir, with the recent liberation of earth hundreds of thousands of people are applying to join the military." He said
"Apply?" said the S3
"Yah, we don't have room for that many soldiers, most of them are being put into waiting lists until room can be made, they're proposing to make four new corps and three new armadas in the next year." the S4 said
I heard the S5 whistle.
"And there are at least fifty thousand people that requested to join "the shadowguards"" he said
I winced, "I'd prefer if we just leave it as I corps for now, call it what you like informally, but were still I corps." I said
"Yes sir" he said "The big problem is that we don't have the room to spare at this base for all of them." Our base was in a very large pasture in a basin. It was in the middle of nowhere in eastern China, but it was big enough for its own air strick and a medium sized space dock, so we just rode by air to anywhere we needed to go and there were even civilian shuttles that would go back and forth between here and major cities.
"Well, I think we have a solution." the S3 said, "nobody has been assigned to the Everest base and all that is there is the 34th battalion from 5th division to maintain it. Technically speaking its still ours." "We can train them up there, the altitude does wonders." he said sarcastically.
"Good point, do it." I said
"How about the sabotage?" I said to my S2
"The problem isn't with looking for personnel nor is it with finding equipment, its with the equipment itself, the nano suits could use some improvements and the closest thing we have to an electronics package like you needed is about the size of a large backpack and weighs a hundred pounds, hardly manportable for a three to five man team even with the suits." the S2 said
my S5 said "I may be able to help, there's a lot of very interesting tech in prototype stages, some of them are pretty functional. Like multi stage vacuum tube radio packages. There's even a new suit that's being put into prototype production. From what I've heard its really something else. They managed to squeeze a triple flow ionizing fusi..."
"Leave the facts for another time, just tell me what we have." I said
"Alright, basically it is an armored suit made up of interwoven pieces of armor that fit together and are moved by a combination of servos and myomer fibres like those in the nanosuit." "It is much stronger then the armor on the nanosuit and with the improved energy supply the speed, agility, and strength of the actual suit are much greater then a nanosuit." the S5 said
"Who are they going to?" I asked
"The twenty second division in IV corps." he said
"For cleanup and mopup duty on earth?" I said, "I don't think so, get them for us, and if there is a problem tell them to call me, or even better the supreme commander." I said
"Dismissed" I said as I stood up.

Out of Game: The only traitors are non ESSCPA, so they obviously don't know. All ESSCPA Super Soldiers are with me. We are not at Delta by the way, we are near the edge of the galaxy.
? okay I'll change it.

Onboard the SRT ( not SSS ever since they left the Terran Alliance ) Amaterasu, Shogun sat in his command chair, he entered ESSCPA mode with his Geass turned on. They did what they were trained to do from childhood, and what they were born for. A mid-sized fleet facing his.....he was still outnumbered regardless....as they have been for every battle they have ever fought, even in simulations and exercises.
"SRT Archangel, on our 5'o clock 25 degrees above us,"
They have been unattacked without warning. They are hiding in secret due to the fact that the ESSCPA Special Operations Command attempted a coup. Even though they help defend Earth's fleet, they were hunted, they left in self-imposed exile, nobody knew where they were. Even though he left, he still kept a few eyes and ears..... for example at secret ESSCPA outposts and a small platoon-sized intelligence black covert force at Delta, they haven't abandoned the Terran Alliance yet, they will return when they are pardoned and/or the alliance is in danger. Hopefully they knew what they were doing, they were professionals, however what he feared was that like every super soldier, himself included have little real combat experience and are adolescent teenagers. It is easy to forget that, due to their efficiency and lethality, but super soldiers never forget anything.
A scout reported in,
"Sir, slight anomalies in the sensors, looks like a highly sophisticated stealth transport to me sir, if it is anything important that is, might be nothing at all,"
Anomalies like this aren't rare, it is pretty common, it might be just an asteroid or something like that, in his one man outpost however, he was completely alert all the time in his shift, super soldiers are never lax, more so now, due to the fact that they have received a message from Shogun, to keep their eyes open, they are considering returning to the alliance's aid, whether in secret and by themselves or officially with the alliance. They just need the right cue.
In their little cave was their tiny command center, with only the bare essentials, the intel sent to their outposts for.....processing, then it goes to another black covert force or the SRT for delivery directly into Admiral ( even though he insists on being captain and addressed by his first name, he would take boss and sir, but not admiral, despite being voted to the rank ) Shogun's hands.

OOC - oh, I know - just Earth was pretty much the last place I saw you guys had been, and I sorta assumed (bad of me, I know) that there had been a battle - seemed like the logical place for my ship to be "displaced" from it's own reality
"Sir, weve found a few heat spots in the thermals last night, its in the face of a mountain, probably a cave." the two corporals said as they arrived back
"How about you?" the sergeant said to the lance corporal
"I've been following a few transmissions from that area, the encryption is old, but usable."
"Okay, you two on me, lets check it out. lance, keep an eye on the electronics gear." the sergeant said
The sergeant and the two corporals headed out into jungle.
We arrived there and saw a small fire. We stealthed and krept around. All of the sudden I felt a punch under my jaw, I turned around and saw some teenager about to stab me. I grabbed the hand and wrist, turned around hoisting it over my shoulder and flipped him over.
He sprang back up and then the corporal following me punched him in the bottom of the back and the super soldier's body collapsed to the ground in pain.
"Kidney shots may be considered cheap for the likes of you, but your in our backyard, the rules don't apply here." the corporal said tieing up the kid's wrists with steel cable.
The super soldier could barely breath, a punch to the kidney by a nanosuit is not pleasent at all. The corporals now had their rifles at the ready.
I heard a snap of a twig and I pulled out a pistol. "Drop it!" I yelled
"We don't want trouble..." I heard someone in the bushes say

OOC - Shogun, is the "stealth transport" referring to my ship?
Was trying to sorta "pop in" somewhere I could run into someone
No, it was the ship that my guys were taking, and it wasn't a ship so much as a stealthy shuttle.

Ah, alright - I'm kind of hesitant to make any further action until I learn a little more about what's going on - trying to read back through the thread, but it's a lot to cover
You can pretty much skip everything after p. 211 and before p. 269
Pages 190-205 would probably give you the best background of what had happened before this.
If you want a decent way to get into the game (I know how hard it is, took me a little bit of a while) then if you like you can signup for the mission I'm setting up where we infiltrate the holian capital. Its pretty much a 3-5 man mission and you get a sick suit for it.
Bleed White and Blue!
"Delta 5 have been attacked, Uniform 2 and 7 reinforce Uniform 5, 8 and 9 who are already on the scene, Rifle 2-1, sweep the area with your rifle, hold your fire and upload the view to my HUD," The ESSCPA CO, codename Juliet 2-2 ordered,
He then turned and said relatively calmly to his XO,
"Remind me why we used the communications systems left over by the Recon Marines here....."
It was a figure of speech, they never forgot anything....
"Most of ours got destroyed in cave collapses during a major earthquake, the ones we had left are the intergalactic communications equipment, then we found the Recon Marines' equipment during and expedition......"
Both knew it, but it was something to say in absence of words.....
Then when the image showed up on his HUD, he knew who his opponents were, then he ordered, "All nearby riflemen prepare for execution orders, fire on my mark, relay all views to mine and the Juliet 2-1's HUD, Uniforms 5, 8 and 9, you can make your presence known, use caution and safety off,"
The Uniforms stepped out with their carbines aimed, Uniform 2 and 7 are completely hidden with their assault rifles aimed an ready to fire. They are completely blended in, no thermal signature, smell, silhouette, sound .etc not even a identifiable atmospheric pressure difference. Uniform 2 then said,
"I believe it is you who is to drop and surrender, what do you want?!"
If anything happened, that bastard will have his head popped off, he knew that he won't let himself be captured, he will die before that, and he knew that his comrades, not just the ones beside him, the entire ESSCPA Special Operations Command, every single super soldier across the galaxy will avenge him, and he won't be left behind.

Sounds good to me Fedr Did you send out a broadcast?
