Well I read a bit of it. I don't remember what you posted though because I was shutting down my comp.

Yeah, we have different ideas about how transporters and psychics can contribute, I figured you have something creative about transporters that I didn't realize so yeah...

Well, actually on DS9 one of the ideas was to take a micro transporter and strap it onto the end of a sniper rifle and use an extremely advanced scanner and you could 'see' through walls, lock onto the target and fire the bullet which will get transported 6 inches away from the target. Granted it'd be limited to maybe 200 meters or so, but still, that's a great way to score a clean kill.

It has been 19 hours from since said contsct witht the borg, my ship is under repair untill we can get to the dry docks at earth. The borg ships have been destroyed at a terrible price, 25 out the original 30 have been destoyed or have unable to repair damage. The repair to the defiant have been extensive, shields and weapons are offline with decks 24, 23, and 22 damaged from the breach of the hull. We are able to have impulse engines.

I hate to break it to you. But 1. this isn't star trek (although I wish it was)

2. There are no borg (though I wish there were)

3. There's no point in doing this if you are just off on your own instead of with the other characters of the story.

Well, you can do what you like I suppose since it is a free world. But in reality if you want to be a part of the storyline you would probably want to be on the Endeavour with us. We recently got taken through a slipstream several galaxies away from earth. It's a large trek based vessel with two small tactical escorts attached to her hull (defiant type vessels except a tad more futuristic).

I am pretty much the first mate my name is Kato, Shogun 'shin' in game is apparently some sort of strategic forecast officer whose purpose is yet unclear to me.

I believe omega is the chief engineer. Flemster is captain but is never on.

Actually Chief Staff Officer, Strategic/Tactical Forecaster, and Chief Tactician and Strategist. Basically my job is to assess situations, predict the actions and reactions by the enemies and to counter them in the most efficient way possible in addition to planning operations large and small scale. Basically like a military planner in addition to a forecaster.

honestly I don't see how, there was only one ship that went through the slipstream and that was the endeavour

then that means that I have to give up my ship to be on the endeavour is that what your saying

That's what we all did. Anyways stray, having your own ship becomes obnoxious. Because then you have to act out for every person on your ship and it becomes as realistic as talking to yourself in the mirror.

Having other people hold positions in the ship gives some variety.
