On the far side of the Moon, a strange thing happened. The stillness of space was disturbed by a bright light, swirling and pulsating, twisting and rippling. It only lasted a moment and then vanished as quickly as it arrived.
In it's place, a long, dark shadow obscured the stars. It hung there in the darkness, silent and still. For a long time, nothing hapenned. Then a solitary light appeared at the front of the shape. It flickered for a bit, then remained on. It was but a pinprick of light against a massive dark bulk. Then some other lights appeared. Row by row, lights flared to life along the flank of the shape, illuminating features on the shape. The dark grey metal of a starship became more and more visible as even more lights came on.
A dull thud signalled the arrival of four huge, blue, glowing lights at the rear of the ship, the unmistakable signs of engines flaring to life.
Along the flanks of the ship, yet more lights sprang to life. Huge floodlights glowed on along the lower half of the side of the ship, lighting its name.
