OUT OF GAME: I am not back. I am at the library typing this. Just keep going on with the story, pretend my characters are doing their jobs, and that you never see them. It'll cut down on confusion.
I should get internet back within the next month.
@ Fed: My guy was in Ten Forward when we hit the wormhole. But then he got injured so he got patched up and sent to his quarters.

Can I create a ship of my own? What types of ships can I use? War Frigates? I was thinking of either making some sort of TARDIS xP

You can use any warship you like, just post what you want and an introduction. As long as it is not powergaming we will allow it. Or you can just come on the ship with us.
Is tardis one of the time travel phone booth things?

Well, right now we are on a science cruiser that just got shot into another galaxy, I'll send you the invite to scifleet to see the design, but it's based off of a trek design. Each of us have different positions, but there are two small (50 man) escorts attached to the hull that can be deployed, I believe razor called the first one so you can have the second, it's maneuverable but is a lot larger than a fighter, and it has cannons facing forwards mounted onboard. (Think of "The Defiant" from DS9)

Its all good, its fine. I don't mind you asking questions, it is a sign that you want in. Also it is good to know the guidelines before you join right?
The limits are no time travel that is a big one, and it is about like Fedr808 said about Voyager era, but it doesn't have to be based off voyager, for example I base mine off Macross and Gundam a lot, with a bit of Star Wars, Code Geass and ingenuity
I also think no teleporting.
The rule of thumb is that don't make it too advanced so we won't have an exciting story and tough problems to solve, but advanced enough. It is not the more powerful the better, it is the more interesting the better.
Well there isn't really specific designs, the overall shape is based off a ship is Star Trek ( dunno the name, never really watched Trek ), but we can make our own additions as long it is logical, such as the awesome Ops Room. You can create an ally species if you like, but it would be great if you would join us. I didn't watch much of Trek ( I watched a bit of Voyager on TV, and a bit of DS9 ) but it is quick to get used to. I will write up a short but sufficient summary and PM it to you.May I see the designs? Perhaps I can create an Ally species?

There are a lot of open options. Just so you know there is a company of marines aboard, and two assault ships connected to the ship.
