"alright here's my message, A little while ago, this being contacted me in my head he's phychic. He said that he was going to destroy all live in this galaxy. then there was a flash and I saw a feet o millions of ships and soilders. then he replaced it again and said I'm coming, then he laughed and the connection broke." Razor sat there for a moment waiting for them to say he was crazy or something like that.

((OOC: HFS, guys!!! When I left for camp Friday morning, we were on page 212 and in the middle of a massive battle defending against a military coup detat. You're now on page 234!!! 22 pages!!!! Are you kidding me!?!? lol damn, guys... You mind slowing up a bit, or at least making longer posts? A good trick for the scenes where you have a lot of back-and-forth between characters is to meet up in an Instant Messanger and RP the conversation or whatever out in chat, and then have someone clean it up and post it, or just post the straight chat logs.

I've still got catching up to do, but I'll try and get a post up tonight sometime. Not sure if I'm gonna go with the exploration ship, since I won't have all that much extra time for it, so I'll probably just focus on the civil war arc.))

out of game: If you hurry you can make it if you hurry. I'm thousands of light years away and I'm on the exploration thing.

I am aboard the new ship right now (were calling it endeavour? or pathfinder?). Practicing flying it. It's still landlocked right now but in about 3 days or so I'll be taking it to space for the first time.

    "Commander Kato, it's time again"

OOC: Im gonna be gone for 3 days... well two and a half, do you mind if we can put off the launch of the ship from earth to space for that period of time?

    Wait, it's already been launched?

Where are we in the story line exactly.

I thought we were on earth awaiting for the ship to be launched.

Out of game: it hasn't launched yet. I meant that I'm going but I'm thousands of light years away from it right now.

As the crew were settling into their seats aboard the shuttle T.J. Hooker, the doors hissed closed. Some of the junior ratings looked at each other in mild supprise; the captain wasn't aboard. One such rating, Ensign Johnny Expendable, was just about to call out to the dock master when the doors hissed open again.
A smoking hot woman entered, dressed and looking just like this:

    http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_BbxJVcHi9X...0/lucy-bsg.jpg

Jaws fell open and conversations stopped dead as the shuttle fell into stunned silence. The woman didn't pause and walked with authority to the front of the shuttle. She turned to face the crew and began to speak.
"BEEP. Do not be alarmed by my appearence. I am Captain Dave Flemster. I am covered in an experimental bioskin designed to ease my intergration into the crew."
The crew remained silent and in shock.
"BEEP. As we all appear to be aboard, we can now leave for the ship. I have been studying the crew's reluctance regarding our new ship's current name. I have taken note of many suggestions and whittled it down to five possible options. Thisw should cut down on valuable time currently spent arguing."
    Ensign Expendable popped a stiffy.
"BEEP. Under your seats, you will find a VoteBox5000. Please choose one of the following options for the new ship's name."
Dave extended a beautiful, sleek arm and activated a wall-mounted screen. Five names appeared on it, numbered 1 thru 5.
"BEEP. One: HMS Scott Of The Antarctic.
    Two: SSS Endurance.
    Three: SSS Endeavour.
    Four: SSS Pointed Finger.
    Five: Pioneer.
    Please choose now."
Nobody did anything at first. Then the enlisted men began stabbing at their pads.
Dave flicked his auburn hair out of his angelic face and shifted his weight from one sensual hip to the other.
"BEEP. Continue voting. In the meantime, when we dock, I need the Chief Engineer to report directly to engineering to begin pre-flight preparations. All enlisted men are to report to the rear hanger bay for orienteering and the bridge crew are to assume their pots on the bridge immediately. Our departure window has been advanced. That is all. Thank you."
The sexy robot swivelled on his heels and went into the bridge of the shuttle, the door hissing closed behind her, erm him/it.

(OOG: I really like the big, meaty looking ship more than the Trek one. Dont like the alien one at all. I sorta imagined our new ship to be like the Event Horizon or similar.
As for the name, choose and move on, eh? It'll not get mentioned that much anyway and we can always use a nickname amongst ourselves once we're underway.
Lastly, due to realword time differences and me just starting a new, time-consuming job, I wont be able to keep up with you guys on the posting front. If I'm not on, assume Dave is in his quarters. This brings me to my lastly last point: one of you guys needs to be my XO. One of the more frequent posters would be best.
    Next stop, the SSS...?)

" I thought I'd let you know first since you'll see it first being on the edge of the galaxy and all. now I got a ship to get to, later Shogun." turning the shuttle around Razor went to FTL towards southhampton.

  18. #4678
(OOG: Razor, if you don't make the shuttle, you can always meet us at the MoonDock. You'll be punished with some shitty job for being late though!)

  19. #4679
out of game: I'm on my way b ack right now though so me make it barely. I hope

  20. #4680
arriving at south hampton Razor bolted for the shuttle pulling himself inside just barely as the doors locked shut. walking to his chair he sat down. pulling out the voting box Razor voted for Endeavour. sliding it back under he laid back and enjoyed the view.
