History might be useful here. Is it too embarrassing to suggest that oil is the real reason for virtually anything the United States has done in the Middle East? The real reason for war with Mexico was to take almost half of its territory. The real reason for war in Cuba was to replace Spanish control of that island with U.S. control. The real reason for war in the Philippines was the markets of China. The real reason for the Vietnam War was to take another piece of real estate in the Cold War game of Monopoly with the Soviet Union.

Oil for Food program, come on--u know we need that oil. If it is in the "interest" of USA we will do something in the name of democracy. WHat about all the crazed warlords in africa or other parts of the world. We dont go fight them in the name of democracy. Unless we can profit-we dont lift a finger.

and why did they attack Iraq? weapons of mass destruction? like a country with no economy and millions of starving people (1,000,000 iraqi kids dead) is gonna have weapons? it couldn't even shoot down a single american fighter plane in the war. there were no concrete (or any) evidence of Iraqs WMD's but there are CONCRETE evidence of IsraeL WMD's. Israeli scientists have comeout addmitting WMD;s, videos have been shown of WMD;s but America has refused to send in inspectors even though scientists have claimed that ISrael has over 100 NUKEs. if they did do inspections they would find nukes and thus making it illegal for the US to support ISRAEL and be allies so that is why America is refusing to do inspections through its vetos in the UN.

I think the US will "have" to be forcibly retired..... sad to say this is hard for American's to fathom. Our ego has grown to an enormous size since the CCCP wasted away in the hands of old fools who weren't prepared for the future and we begin to think we can shuffle the cards (nations) with impunity.

I believe the Chinese will be the new SUPER POWERED "kid on the block" by 2030 and having stolen the secrets of our latest miniaturized nuclear warheads and with the AWAC, ICBM, US air-to-air missile technology our Jewish "pals" have sold to the Chinese it may be sooner than we think!

Oh well, who cares, most of us will be fertilizer by then........
