    Hi all!

Do you know what the Monroe Institute is? Well, according to their website:

"The Monroe Institute is a nonprofit research and educational organization founded by Robert Monroe. We have investigated human consciousness for over forty years."

    Alright.

But does anyone know anything about them besides what posted at their website? Why I'm asking is because I've read Monroe's books (yes, all three of them) and to say the least, well, they're rather mind boggling. I can't for the life of me believe what he's writing. But, then again, he apparently succeded in a lot of ways in his life, the Monroe Institute being something of his brain child.

Are they lunatics the bunch of them (well, apparently)? I've Googled and I've searched, but I can't find anything negative said about the institute. Where are the debunkers, the sceptics? Does anyone have a link, a book, anything?

    Help me out here.

    lemonblue,

You must be lunatic (and I am not trying to disrespect you) to think that

Robert Monroe was fraud. Robert Monroe for your information is the only one

of the few people who you can be in respect with. Robert was the pioneer of

the out of the body experience research in the Western society. He had a

long and distinguished career in the broadcasting industry, as a writer,

director of programs, and creator and producer of some four hundred radio

and TV network programs, and eventually as owner and operator of a radio

network and cable TV system in Virginia. What strucks the skeptics or the

none believers in out-of-the-body is that Robert was such a successful

personality in his business and his very analytical persona.
