    FORGOT!

My FAVOURTIE plane of all time is the Tu-144:

The Tu-144 was the world's first super-sonic passenger jet to take flight it was the Soviet SST. It flew from Moscow to Alma-Ata from 1976-1983 (I think), it was withdrawn do to the fact of the massive amounts of fuel she uses.

You *have* to be kidding me for putting Johannesburg and Moscow and Hong Kong up there but not Singapore. Of all the airports I've been to, Singapore is hands down the best one. Very efficient, very fast, and very, very beautiful. Johannesburg is the worst. Small, slow, and backwards.

My favorite plane to fly in, commercial jet liner that is, is the Boeing 777. I remember flying in one in 1998 between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore on Singapore Airlines. Very cool plane.

I hope to someday get a license to fly those planes, but for now I'll stick with my plain old private pilot's license, for one engine only. Bgh.

    Jerrek

Singapore is a good airport, Changi or something like that. But it is dominated by Singapore airlines. Moscow region is great b/c there you can see all the Russian airlines (rare in the west), and Russian types. I picked Jo'burg b/c I needed one for Africa. Jerrek I used those airports not for the level of service but the level of international airlines servicing it. Hong Kong you have to be kidding me Jerrek that is one if not the best airport in the world.

JFK has been redesigned...well the international airlines hub anyway and it has been a delight. I remember before the construction took place...bleh, what a pathetic mess of a airport but now it is fast, efficient, quick and clean. The Neo, German, Architecture doesn't hurt either along with the shopping complex located in the basment level.

    Joburg..arg.. why?

Miami Int. has those weird musical walkways.. probably gets annoying after the first time. I usually rate them on quality of free drinks in the business lounge...
The best airports are small ones IMO, faster to get out of and you see more interesting private planes.

Coolest airliner I've flown in was a charter DC4.

PPL I am not talking about the quality of the airport but the varity of airlines you can see at the airport. Now Miami Intl was a good one to add but I didn't want to be extra. Also I didn't put on Frankfurt Am Main,Madrid Barajas, Tokyo Narita, or Haneda. I think the up and coming airports are Beijing Intl, Incheon Intl, Toronto PIA, Manchester Intl, and Abu Dhabi Intl.

If you want quantity and lots of different airlines, then then pick two of the three hubs in the world. First hub is in Chicago (O'Hare), but is mainly for North America. Second hub is in Frankfurt, and the other is in Singapore.

And your statement that it is dominated by Singapore Airlines is mostly bullshit. While there is some truth in that, it is only Terminal 3 (I think) that serves Singapore. Terminal 1 and 2 are for other airlines.

I didn't like Hong Kong because I found it slow and kinda small. Singapore Changi airport is by far the best airport I've been to.

I agree on Chicago but it is volume that Chicago dominates not international airlines, thus NYC JFK is #1. In Europe it is London Heathrow, no holds bar #1. Granted Frankfurt is a very strong contender but London is #1, and what is it with Singapore and u? Hong Kong has a much greater varity of airlines than Singapore.

    Oximoron but ok....

Hong Kong small? LMFAO! your dumber than you look.
