    ...is the concept of MARTYRDOM.

    Do this or that (for your faith), and you will be rewarded in the afterlife. Of course, this is usually equivalent to killing yourself for a arbitrary cause. And usually taking a hellavu lot of other lives with you on your way.

    I dont find it to be any coincidence that we primarily see the idea of martyrdom in MONOTHEIST religions.

    Hmm...so what you're saying is that monotheistic religions cause the most suffering and pain?
