Try watching a little more variety of anime. DB/Z/GT was cheap low quility (though long lasting good plot) the manga was better. Most of the adult populace of Japan watch anime or read comic books (“Manga”, which most anime stems from.). Trust me you can’t say that whole country is lowered in intelligence and maturity because of it.

Want to see a good anime try "Blood: the last Vampire" at your video store. "Cowboy Bebop" may be there to try that to. EVA I should warn you may cause brain damage from insane plot, don't watch it lightly. "Ghost in the shell" is very good well thought out prediction of the future (Though the comic is much better: no naked invisible chick fan service).

There is no need to hate anime. 'Anime', like 'prose', 'poetry', or 'video', is merely a medium of transferring visual information to the consumer. It's as stupid as saying "I hate poetry because I think it's dumb". As a personal note, I'm sorry you had to get introduced to anime through Dragonball Z; it's one of the poorest quality anime series out there and out of the most overrated. If you had begun by watching something like Millennium Actress or Shingetsutan Tsukihime, you might've avoided the current subconscious, anti-anime psychological block you seem to have now.

I understand you're a very competitive person and you can't stand people who sit around watching something as pointless (or so many anti-anime people think) as anime, but sometimes competition isn't the point to life. In fact, I think I can safely say there is no point to life.

No set point or goal, that is. Life wasn't "meant" to be anything; it's not like it comes with an instruction manual, eh?

Zero I notice that your were wondering a while back about Kiddy Grade, yes here my review of it:

Kiddy grade: In the colonized space future a agency specializing in trade control uses a small squad of super powered children armed with telekinetic power, mech suits, lots of guns and kinky outfits to give people offers they can’t refuse. Due to the children wearing kinky outfits part I think pedophile will really like this anime. As for me nothing about it got my attention, did not like or dislike it.

Does anyone like shoujo? I haven't seen much but I like what I've seen. My favorite is the undubbed Fruits Basket. Followed by Gravitation and Sailor Moon. And for the record Love Hina is not shoujo because it is meant for guys.

Other anime I've liked are Trigun, Eva, Tenchi series, Noir, Boogie Pop Phantom, Angel Sanctuary, Lain, Outlaw Star, Gundam Wing (another shoujo), and I hate to say it but I also liked Pokemon Yugio and Dragon Ball Z (but not dragon ball or gt cause kid goku is annoying)

Sadly my sources are limited to Cartoon Network and the local blockbuster because I am too poor to buy any of my own. My friend downloaded some stuff for me but my internet is far too slow.

But hey if you’re a guy there nothing wrong with liking shoujo, hey I once sat though a few episode of sailor moon without gagging, but my limit on how far I going into shoujo is "His and Her Circumstances" and maybe digi charats. haha sorry I'm not a girl. But I do like yaoi (understatement of the year). My friend bought me some yaoi manga but it's all in japanese so I can't read it. Usually I can't sit through something if I can't find some yaoi in it. (except Sailor Moon but only cause I love yuri too) Is it bad for a gay boy to think lesbians are hot? I don't know if your gay if you like girl manga and anime, as many guys simply like it because it turns then on watching girls transform into super pretty princesses, or they just get turned on by the stylish outfits. I on the other hand have found ecchi, hentai, and hard core porn (in that order) far more satisfying, perhaps you need to rent some pornos to full understand, if that has no effect or if you rent gay porno on impulse, then yes your gay, no problems with that though

His and Her circumstance: "Kareshi Kanojyo no Jijyo" is about a girl that fanes perfection to feed her craving for affection from others, but she is really just a spoiled brat impulsive psycho little bitch, fortunately she meets a guy that manages to best her, even more fortunately she comes to discover that he is not her nemesis but soul mate (there both fakers!) together they decide to try to be true to who they realy are. This is such a great romantic anime, and unlike other romantic anime these two manage to fuck within the first session! (and they fucked like real teenagers to, aka had know clue how to screw!)
