So? What has our Progressive Socialist in Chief done to make "His" Presidency the ""Most Transparent Administration Ever". Well, according to Associated Press Washington Bureau Chief Sally Buzbee, as she recently stated at a joint meeting of the American Society of News Editors, the Associated Press Media Editors and the Associated Press Photo Managers The Obama may have precipitated the following few 'minor' problems that may extend across the entire federal government and are now trickling down to infect state and local governments.

Gotta say one thing for the U.S.S.A - life is Gods damn good in the Tax Pen. Mmmmm Hmmmmm..... Chicago Politics at it's best. I wonder what our Political Masters have in store for us next? Maybe a War with China. That'd be easy enough to drum out of the electorate Chattel Class. Maybe our Central Planners think a "Good War", you know, a WWII style War is just what we Amoorikkkans need to 'jump start' the "Economy".

    LOL....

heh, say what you will about Obama... but just remember this:

The guy can't so much as wipe his ass without Congressional and/or Senate approval... the office of the President is, in my opinion, nothing more than a fall-guy for the people in Congress and Senate so they can keep earning their millions from lobbyists and have someone else to blame it on.

The one role of the POTUS is to ensure that the US Constitution is being upheld. Instead we have a combination of the NSA illegally spying on all American Citizens and a POTUS doing everything in His limited power to limit, intimidate, coerce (including jail) the journalists working to inform us of how the POTUS along with CONgress are violating our Constitutional protected civil rights. Sure, he's limited in his ability to build a bridge, pretty much powerless, but not in upholding the US Constitution. Building a bridge isn't his role, healthcare isn't his role - protecting our Constitutionally defined rights IS his role.

Not that it matters, soon having no privacy and anal probed to fly on a plane will seem as normal as the 1 in 5 functional illiterate.

Good ole U.S.S.A: home of shafted, land of the slave.

Do you have any proofs to support your many assertions? No you don't. You have never had any proofs, but that doesn't stop you from making these ideological tirades. God forbid you should ever let little things like evidence and reason get in the way of your demagoguery.

What? Proof the NSA is spying on American citizens - with the complicit support of our Glorious Magnanimous POTUS, Commander in Chief: The O-Blaha-Ma-mator? Well, let's see Joe - that's a fact.
Or are you asking for Proof our Political Masters lied to the gullible idiocracy that is the American Public, to invade Vietnam (Gulf of Tonkin Incident) or to invade Iraq (WMD) - murdering, raping, and destroying both countries with poisonous chemicals (Agent Orange and now radioactive dust). Let's see, again, a couple of facts. Or are you asking for Proof the Central Bank bailed out the richest 1% of Americans following the GFC that THEY caused. Again, a fact - the richest 1% are richer now then they've ever been, in our history. Or are you asking for Proof of the 1 in 5 Government Schooled functional illiterates that make up the American voting electorate? Or the fact that the US Government is the largest polluter in the history of the world? Or the fact the US Government jails more non-violent humans, in rape-cage factories it runs, then any other nation in the history of the world - many times for the 'crime' of smoking a weed, and given the only effect of this is a subtle alteration to consciousness, we could say: The "Thought Crime" of smoking a weed. Or the fact the US Government consumes more of the Earths limited energy. Or the fact the US Government, through the IRS, forces laborers to pay the State a Tax on their Labor to work.

Don't worry Joe - nothing's going to change. So, don't worry about Change You Can Believe In. It isn't coming.

The NSA isn't spying on Americans. It was receiving phone metadata from phone companies and storing that information. That isn't spying. Additionally, that practice preceded this administration, the administration you claim failed to be more transparent. The previous administration was much less transparent than the current administration on this and many other issues.

The NSA was just one of your many assertions. So where is your evidence? And the balance of the crap in your post isn't relevant and at very best decietful. It's demagoguery.

It should be noted, in 1913, less than 1% of Americans paid a tax on their income to the State. The income tax was the Progressive Socialist's (of the late 1800s) idiotic answer to 'The Rich'. How pathetic, almost as asinine as the Generational Welfare Program these same idiot's grandkids built in the 1960s. And, thanks to "Progressive" Income Tax (and the "Progressive" Central Bank), the American richest 1% have never been richer. And they're getting richer. Soon we'll have a proper Aristocracy and we little Peon's can live like the Tax Serfs most truly want to be. All safe and cozy in a Police State/Tax Farm.

Thanks to Central Bankers and our Central Planners 1 in 3 children are no longer raised by their parents OR relatives, will likely develop an Anxiety Disorder (like the 1 in 20 with an eating disorder or the 1 in 12 cutting themselves). How's that strike you Joe? 1 in 12 kids self-harming. What? That's all the Koch brother's fault? Must be a lot fo Koch Brother influence in Australia too.

Don't worry your little head about it butterfly.
Nothing is going to change - at least for the better.

You could think of those children-cutters as the 'unintended consequences' of you getting to retire early while their mother's pay rent, pay for the wars we lose, and pay to keep the interest rates nice and low on their land-Lords loan so the new housing bubble can build up. You know, children cutting themselves due to the natural anxiety of having had to little time with their stressed-out mothers; being forced to sit in neat little rows memorizing useless information that's quietly forgotten - all so that they can graduate as functional illiterate Labor Cogs and become the good little Patriotic 'hand-raising-if-I-need-to-pee" Citizens OF (property OF) the United States kind of Cog they're destined to be.

They're just the 'collateral damage' of Keynesian Central Planning.
Of living in an ocean of normalized violence.
    That whole Yin-Yang paradigm.
Nothing you need to concern yourself with.
So, yes, don't you worry, they get more NSA and more stress.
    Not less.
    More.
    Its inevitable.

    Less freedom, more regulation.
    Less savings, more debts
    Less civil rights, more prisons
    Less service, more taxes
Less time with mothers, more cutting and self-harm.

Who needs freedom and the freedom of association (free-markets), law and sound money? Why? When we can instead resort to the use violence instead. And then whine when the sociopaths end up running the system OF violence/Federal Government. Like I said, you don't have to worry about change, it isn't coming. Not for decades - if ever. But, while you're here, do enjoy the New Economy. It isn't going anywhere. Oh yeah, and soon the State will need more Cannon Fodder, luckily there's a plentiful harvest of those 1 in 5 Government Schooled Graduates who are too stupid to know what they're signing, too regulated to create a job and too unskilled to find work and patriotic as Hell - happily to die for the State and the Oligarchy who owns it.

You're an absolute idiot if you think that's all the NSA is doing in terms of domestic spying.
    (A) We aren't allowed to know what they do with the data and so you're in no position to make that statement - you only know what we're allowed to know, and that isn't much
    (B) the meta-data you think is so innocuous can easily be used to develop a detailed profile of anyone - and that profile is advanced enough to easily predict most of your future behaviors.

    That's spying Joe.
Jesus, pull your head out of your anus.

You can thank our Central Bankers for this little act of subversion as well. Their models are so pathetic they need this data as well. Which is why now the State is collecting data from ALL major carriers. If you think Google or Apple or M$ had some data on you. They have shit compared with the State. It's worse than Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Oh, but why would you want people to be free from spying? You wouldn't. It smells good in there - huh?
AKA: The system is working for Joe - so the last thing you, or other Baby's like you, want is actual change. That might threaten your nice little sand castle you built. Well, you're in luck. We get to pay more taxes, work longer, spend less time with children, have less enjoyable memories with friends and family, lose more civil liberties, get more regulation and fight and lose more wars. No change for us. But hey, at least a few Baby's got to retire in their late 40s. Their grandkids - try 70 to never.

Look, we're under no illusions Joe, we simply have to wait until most of the Baby generation has finally died off. We're just hoping your generation doesn't destroy the planet's ecosystem in your filth on the way out. But, here's something interesting: there's more Millennials than there are Babys. And, someday, they're going to return the favor. That'll be interesting. See, they, like you, think 'redistribution' by force is "good for society". Let's wait and see what 10 more years of Federal Reserve Bank of New York 'recovery' puts into their minds. Soylent Green maybe? How about a nice 90% tax on all assets of anyone over the age of 55 - the State can provide them with a nice Public Housing room - for FREE too. That's fair Joe. Everyone Baby and above get's a nice "Free" room, all "Equally" the same. Perfect social just for the Good of Society and exactly what all Baby's would want - which is why they'll be tossed in a smaller room with bars if they resist.

Nice thing about being retired, the State has no more use for you. You're no longer a "Productive Member of the Herd". Time to "give back to society".

LOL..... I'm pretty sure this shit will happen, hell, it already is. O-blah-ma's funding His infrastructure projects out of your generations' retirements. Try and remember O-blah-ma is "Good at Killing People" (by his own account - and that was an American teenager. This is the sort of sociopath we're dealing with - and it isn't just him, add most of CONgress and half of the House. Not to mention the 10 of millions Public Regulators...err, "Servants of the People").

LOL.... yes, let's see how our Police State turns out. Another 30 - 40 more years. You've plenty of time left.

    Timeline of NSA Domestic Spying

Don't worry Joe, the Police State U.S.S.A you crave is expanding. Not shrinking. Nope. Expanding. Even now, if you get stopped and date to refuse to show your papers, all the Police State has to do is call in a sniffer dog. If it even looks at you funny, well, hope you like having a free prostate examination because the State can anal probe you for *gasp* druuuugs. Them's Devil Weed. Oh, unless it's Oxycontin Rx'ed to you via a State-licensed drug pusher. Then "It's all goooood......". Thems Jesus pills. Happy makers.

We get to lose more rights.
We get to lose more privacy.
Your generations gets to stick your grandkids with your bills.
    How nice.
Less *scary* evil freedom to trade with one another (free-markets)
More *safe* Nanny-loves-me regulated trade with the rich oligarchs who control our hyper-regulated-markets/lives.

Again, where is the evidence to back up your assertions? You have none. Taxes under the Baby Boom generation have gone from 94% to 39%. The sciences, standards of living, life expectancies, and personal freedoms have never been better. Scientific and knowledge has advanced expotentially. Environmental regulations were introduced by the Baby Boomers - regulations you don't like, regulations which prevent your ideological buddies like the Koch brothers from polluting and stealing oil. As a result we no longer have rivers spontaneously errupting in flames and our air is cleaner and our cars are more efficient. None of this is new. It has all been pointed out to you numerous times. You just choose to ignore fact and reason and cling to your libertarian fantasies.

Maybe take two doses of this with a large cup of water?

The empirical data is sitting right there. Not only doesn't the ends justify the means, but the ends never materialize. Less freedom isn't the answer. The answer is simple: more freedom. More privacy. Sound money. Laws that protect property and contract. It's all pretty simple. Anything other than this, will result in us continuing to live as hyper-regulated tax chattel, in a police state, as the property of the oligarchs who own, and run it.

Name a time in human history when 50 - 60 years didn't see an advancement in science and technology.

The fact is YOURS was a generation of greed. You ARE living at your grandchildren's expense. We have witnessed a decrease in our standard of living - the only reason why our standards of living have somewhat remained the same is because there's been a huge shift of women into work. Now it requires BOTH parents working to support what a single parent could when you were a child. Personal freedoms have never been WORSE. Regulations have never been this horrendous. Hell, you need a god damn State liscence to arrange flowers, cut hair, fix a computer... Jesus H Christ, Joe. Your generation has seen a massive expansion of the State. First in the 1960s with Americans Great Leap Backwards / Great Society and then in the 1970s with the creation of the Department of Education and the Department of Energy to more expansionism. You talk about protection of the environment - give me a break, the entire Earth's ecosystem is collapsing in front of your nose. You're THAT myopic. The State is spying on ALL Americans - illegally. Our prisons are overflowing with millions of nonviolent 'criminals'. Healthcare is total shit - and now you're sticking your Millennial grandchildren with your generation's bills.

Tell me Joe, do you remember 1 in 12 of your friends cutting themselves when you were a kid? Was it normal to see a child in each class starving herself to death (a form of OCD)? Was a 1 in 5 rate of graduating seniors incapable of reading and writing normal for your high school? These are the statistics Joe. It's empirical data. The conclusion is you'll leave this planet in a much worse state than what was left to you. For the first time in our history as a nation, the next generation IS worse off than the previous generation.

You can keep blaming the Koch brothers all you want - they're not spying on us, they're not starting phony wars in the ME, I've never heard a close associate of a Koch brother suggest either of them stated "I'm really good at killing people" as Obama's did. Are the Koch brothers nice people? Probably not - I really don't care. Steve Jobs by all accounts was an arse-hole. But guess what Joe? They can't legally put you in a rape-cage for smoking a weed, or not paying them a tax on your labor. They themselves can't start phony wars or total lies. Only the State can, and does, do these things. Which is WHY it was LIMITED. The MOST they can do is offer you a product to buy. Or a job. You needn't take either. That's it.

The first 10 amendments are to protect us FROM the State. Not the rich, and there was plenty of rich in 1776 - no, it was the State that needed to be feared and limited.

Ignoring veracity issues with the above, how are the items you cite relevant to your assertion about the transparency of the Obama administration? Obama was a baby when the Gulf of Tonkin incident occurred.

The POTUS has one primary role: uphold the US Constitution. While O-blah-ma, Junior, Cigar-Boy, chump, Grade-B Actor Boy, Peanut head, I am a Crook, etc.... cannot be blamed for previous generations idiocracy, nor be expected to fix the past, what they can do is ensure the US Constitution is upheld.

What should O-blah-ma be doing? Returning to the people, our sovereignty. He should be making the argument that the State should not be obligated to shoot a person in the head for cutting hair without a licence. That the State isn't here to be your morality police, if you want to do a drug, and you're an adult - that's your business. If two homosexual adults want to marry - that's their business. If three women and 10 men want to marry - that's their business. If you want grandma to Rx you some warm beeswax for your ear-ahce, and she charge's you some money for the advice - and you agree with the risks; then that's between the two of you. If you lose your ear, take her to court, but leave the rest of us alone. If you go skying and run into a tress and lose your leg, you're an adult, you knew the risks. Leave the rest of us the hell alone. Just because you got hurt doesn't mean Skying needs to be hyper-regulated so that all Amoorikkkans are waddling down 5% inclines in bubblewrap.

Instead of bailing out the bankers and the 1%, O-blah-ma should have been prosecuting them and letting the 1% go bust.
He should be making the case for repealing the 16th amendment. In short: returning to us our constitutional protect civil rights.

But see, this means being Free(r).

And Amoorikkkan's hate personal freedom. Amoorikkkan's will never, ever, elect a POTUS who'd return to them their sovereignty. Which is why you'll never see anyone other than a liar and a thief elected POTUS. It's the ONLY way TO be elected. Only sociopaths are given the financial and media support to dupe the functionally illiterate public into electing them. You know, the type of people who, when informed that the drone strike they ordered murdered an innocent 17 year old child, exclaims "You know, I'm really good at killing people" while diddling his Nobel Peace Prize. Thus, of course "The Obama" Administration is opaque as ever. He a nut and the people who bought and paid for him are sociopaths. Someone like Ron Paul is smeared as a racist and a kook. Meanwhile, he was the ONLY person in CONgress, on record, stated the financial crises that would befall us - and this is exactly what has happened.

Six years and counting Joe. That's one generation. Soon the State's going to need other avenues of taxation. And given it's the Richest 1% who own and run the State, don't expect it to be from them. Nope. Time to squeeze more out of the middle class. Those with some, must give to those will less. And, any evil is fine in Amoorikkka Joe, so long as you preface it with: "for the Good of Society".

As for my re-posting the 8 points everyone knows is simple dissemination. You can read the full article for yourself.

You seem incapable of simple physical accuracy in anything you say. Which is a characteristic of your visible agenda, which is getting everyone to forget what the politicians you helped get elected did to this country over the past thirty years.

    In the same post.

You do realize that Ron Paul is on record as supporting jail time for all of that stuff you think Americans should be able to do without State oversight, right? And that he did not actually foresee either the nature or the timing of the US financial crisis he helped create by deregulating the players?

But he does agree with your views in one, overwhelmingly important and central matter - rich people should be exempted from paying income tax to the Federal government. And that's where you live, isn't it.

Seriously…? That is easy, we have about 200,000 years of human history. Take your pick. For tens of thousands of years human technology advances were virtually stagnant. The facts are Baby Boomers, and much to your chagrin, have been responsible for the most technological advances since the dawn of mankind. Baby Boomers have created the most prosperous society and the most technologically advanced and stable society man has ever known.
Well that is kind of an odd accusation coming from the “greed is good” libertarian crowd. Prove it.
Actually, you haven’t witnessed a decrease in your standard of living. You are just too spoiled not to notice. Back when I was a growing up, there were no hand held calculators. Racism was the norm. There were segregated bathrooms. Homes were smaller. Pollution was rampant. Rivers spontaneously ignited. There were no environmental regulations to speak of. Lead and other toxic materials were in paints.
And you are, not surprisingly, cherry picking again. There is only one state which licenses flower shops. As for haircutters/barbers, I have no qualms with licensing those folks. When I get a barber, I would like them to have some knowledge of appropriate sanitation. So when I go to the barber I don’t walk away with something unexpected and unwanted. And I know of no state that licenses computer repair. Some municipalities and states require business licenses to they can enforce tax laws.
First in the 1960’s Baby Boomers didn’t begin to reach voting age until 1967…kind of late for all the stuff you accuse them of doing. It helps to know what you are talking about Michael. As for the Earth’s ego system, it is true we face a serious problem with global warming. But that problem didn’t begin with the Baby Boomers. And ironically, it is folks like you who are vociferously fighting against measures to contain and reduce global warming. Those who finance your libertarian ideology (e.g. the Koch Brothers) make huge sums of money the fuels responsible for global warming. It’s more than a little hypocritical Michael. We could and should act to contain global warming, I am game. You just need to get your Koch buddies and those like you to go along with the measures needed to stop global warming.
You are more than a little bit hypocritical. On one hand you want to blame Baby Boomers for the pollution they inherited, which they cleaned up with government regulations. And on the other you want to blame them for the very regulations that cleaned up pollution. We tried it your way, it didn’t work. That is why we have government regulation.
And as for the rest of your accusations, we have been down that road before too. The government is not illegally spying on people. Healthcare is not shit, and nobody is sticking anyone with anything. We as a society have made a commitment to take care of each other. We are social animals Michael. Unfortunately, people like you would turn our elderly, our infirm, and our mentally ill out into the streets rather than care for them. People are not mechanical bots and they have value. People are not disposable like Kleenex. You should move to North Korea. You and Kim Jong-un would get along well until Kim Jong-un decided you were disposable.
A smidgen of evidence would be helpful to your cause here. But you have none, because none of your allegations are true – damn evidence. J
First, I am not blaming. I am just making statements of fact. And the Koch brothers are spying on you, you just don’t know it or want to know it. They have scores of individuals researching your personal data in order to get you to believe what they want you to believe. It’s called advertising. Koch’s are trying to learn as much as possible about individuals so they can tailor their marketing campaigns and make them more effective. The Kochs are not only selling their companies but they are mostly selling their political ideology.
And actually, the Koch’s can start wars and do all the other things you reference by using their influence as they have done and continue to do. To insist otherwise as you have done, is at best naïve in the extreme. Who do you think got Bush Junior elected? Who do you think benefited from Bush Junior and his Republican congress? And as we have discussed many times before, the state doesn’t throw people in jail for not paying their taxes. They throw you in jail for not filing your tax returns or for submitting fraudulent returns – damn minor details again.
Actually, the founders were rich. And it was the founders who incorporated slavery into the Constitution to protect wealthy slave holders like themselves. It seems to me slavery isn’t something a state concerned with individual liberty would incorporate into its key governing document if were all about protecting individual liberties are you maintain. And those 10 amendments you reference did nothing to end the institution of slavery.

It almost certainly is - there are no effective means in place to prevent it, discover it, or punish it, and the notion that organizations like the NSA would restrain themselves on principle, with no oversight or penalty for overstepping, is naive.

Besides, what it can do "legally" after the trashing of the law we've seen is bad in itself - there's no reassurance in the qualification "legally".

Michael is using that fact to deceptively focus on Obama, of course, rather than effectively oppose the current misfortunate situation at the root. So his agenda, and dishonesty, is visible. But the devil can quote scripture to his purpose.
