I would interpret this to mean the predestination paradox puts you back into your youthful body in the past, so no additional matter or information appears within your past. While the ontological paradox allows for another you (additional mass and information) but that the other you impacts the future in such a way that the future does not change.

In the movie Loopers, they use the ontological paradox so the same person appears at two ages at the same time. In the movie Big with Tom Hanks, they use a variation of the predestination principle, where he becomes either his older self or his younger self, but not both; only allows for one at a time.

Ebeneza Scrooge moves between Christmas past, present and future. He uses the ontological paradox when he sees himself in his past. But then the predestination paradox when he sees his future; grave stone.
