Well guys, do you call your woman something she doesn't like? How about it gals, do you let your man call you something you hate? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Interesting, Honeybun is not acceptable but Honey is. I don't see the term "Hunn" but I've heard that. An some women love being called Darling. My wife finds the term ol' lady as in "my ol' lady". Disrespectful, and degrading. That was not in the list but it should be.
If you went to the link and read some of the comments, you'd see many more bad pet names. One of my personal favorites is "BITCH" as in Yo bitch, get your ass in here. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Somebody call? When you call me B.I.T.C.H., dah-ling, you had best be certain that you mean it as the complimentary acronym it is meant to be, Babe In Total Control of Herself and I'll bring the ass in from outdoors once you have completed building the attached accommodations for my hoofed companion. There is an older Finnish fellow who still calls me 'Young Lady' whenever I meet him. Works for me! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

In the right context just about anything is okay. If not it's kind of up to you to make sure your wishes on the subject are known. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I think Bitch is a female dog. Can't see most women standing to be called a Bitch. Just like I would not expect to be called a Bastard. Which means one that don't know his dad.
Actually a basted in its literal sense doesn't gender discriminate and doesn't mean you don't KNOW your dad, it means that your parents werent married when you were born which is irrelivent now As for bulking at being called bitch it depends on your relationship,y partner and I used to play fight all the time, it was fun, a lot of couples pick on each other but only do it to play, bitch is nothing extrodianry
Also, people use private pet names they wouldn't think of using in public. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Definitely, my partner would DEFINITLY bulk if I called her sexy (or even more sexual names) when her parents were around or even her sister or her friends
Yeah...I used to call my girlfriend "giant flapping pussy"....but that only led to me sleeping on the couch. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! j/k
Terms of endearment are certainly variable by region. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Most of my girlfriends have been pretty tame with their pet names for me. "Babe" or "Baby" usually. My name is Joe, and I go by Joe, so "Joey" inevitably becomes a pet name in and of itself. A couple of the weirder ones were "puffin" and variations on "snooch" (snewds, snauce, sneech, etc).
Pamela's usually get shortened to Pam and they really hate being called Pammy. I think when you use a pet name that she might not like to much but get away with it. It is reassuring that she cares about you. It also tells others you are in a close relationship. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Knew a woman named Cameron, she hated anyone calling her Cammy. But I didn't find anything wrong with it. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Lover is acceptable but not in front of parents. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! learned that the hard way a long time ago.
Regarding the diminutive name of Cameron: See definition #5 on Urban Dictionary http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=cammie
