    Back by popular demand!

Well, just kidding, not by popular demand

I left this forum years ago, after being banned for something (don't really know what) and now I just decided to come back

Some things while I've been gone, I've gotten an associate's degree in business, working on a 4-year degree, and I just came back from Syria!

    Cheers!

I've definitely grown and changed a bit, and my politics are still generally the same (far-right), so that should make for interesting discussion

    Lol

Lay off the fox news or cnn buddy

I hardly met anybody in Syria that supported the revolution, and as a nationalist, I'll poke my eyes out before I let Syria be ruled by the West again

Right, you didn't meet them because Assad put them in a mass grave. But not before poking their eyes out.

    Are you Syrian?

I thought not. I think I know more about what's going on in my own country than you do buddy

His criticisms are fair, just one-sided. No country or leader is entirely innocent.

Assad has made reforms. There were elections not too long ago. And before the Assad family, my country was in turmoil with a coup d'etat every two years, with lots of different warring factions.

I prefer peace and stability over so-called "democracy"

To be sure, Assad isn't my first choice. If he is replaced by a secular party, I'd be okay with that.

    I actually support http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrian_...ionalist_Party

Dude, half that shit is propaganda. And can you name a single country that never experienced problems?

    Thought not.

Assad is stable. And he's initiating reforms. So as far as I'm concerned, these rebels going around murdering civilians and using humans shields are not good for Syria.

One of my old neighbors had his handicapped daughter kidnapped by the "rebels". He hasn't found her to this day.

I think that's about the dumbest statement I've heard in a while. You, a non Syrian, telling me how my country should be, or is?
You, telling me I'm full of propaganda, but what does that make the BS you spew?

This could have been said by an average American and he/she would be wrong too (just like you). Most average people buy into the media bullshit and since we can assume you are average, you also know LESS than a well informed individual.

So just keep visiting this site and educate yourself about Syrian politics...

Yes, better to be ruled by Russia rather than your own people isn't it.
