Lakewood power grid cannot be brought down by butterflies' farts
Out of the thread "Half of India black out" came an astonishing world shaking proclamation that the farts, released by the butterflies, are responsible for the destruction of the electrical power grid integrity of the Lakewood communion. In an effort to dispel these rumors and mind boggling scientific phenomena, I wish to challenge one of Lakewood's most trustworthy and honest citizens Mr. MacGyver1968 on this issue.
I will discuss why butterflies' farts are not responsible for bringing down the city's power grid, while Mr. MacG will prove me dead wrong with hardcore factual facts.

Ah....this thread must be discussing the 'Butterfly Effect Theory'.

Chaos theory is a field of study in mathematics, with applications in several disciplines including physics, engineering, economics, biology, and philosophy. Chaos theory studies the behavior of dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions, an effect which is popularly referred to as the butterfly effect. Small differences in initial conditions (such as those due to rounding errors in numerical computation) yield widely diverging outcomes for chaotic systems, rendering long-term prediction impossible in general.[1] This happens even though these systems are deterministic, meaning that their future behavior is fully determined by their initial conditions, with no random elements involved.[2] In other words, the deterministic nature of these systems does not make them predictable.[3][4] This behavior is known as deterministic chaos, or simply chaos.
Chaotic behavior can be observed in many natural systems, such as weather.

Sche....look what those mean ole hailstones did to my poor little watering can:

and my deck chairs and table:

and my poor hanging plants:

James...you might want to move this to "free thoughts" since I already conceded the debate.

Ok...I'll debate you under the standard rules. Although I can't find too many peer-reviewed papers on butterfly farts.

Ok...I'm preparing my evidence now. I'll go first, since It was my statement.

Lakewood power grid cannot be brought down by butterflies' farts
My esteemed colleague, youreyes, has challenged me to prove that butterfly farts can and do bring down powergrids in my neighborhood of Lakewood. I will show that he/she knows exactly two things about butterfly farts...jack and squat. Butterfly farts are some of the most dangerous hazards on planet earth. Not only do they cause power outages...but famine, discontent, and American Idol.
I have CLEAR video evidence to prove this fact:
You can't overcome Youtube evidence...it's like the Bible....lets see you try!

Oh...it's for serious discussions...like the government doing 9/11.....it's ok...we can debate here. I see you started a fight you can't finish.
What's a-matter? Can't debunk that butterfly farts cause dogs to hump cats?....I didn't think so..LAME!
/fake taunting
(Come on!! it took me almost an hour to make that video!!

Very sorry to see the damages wrought by the giant hailstones, MacGyver. Does this mean that we are now going to be lobbying for the control of butterflies? What about all those gardeners who specifically grow plants that attract these hazardous insects?
This has the potential to be very divisive, I'm thinking, as most gardeners have the mistaken belief that butterflies are an entirely benign species. This could also set the stage for a conflict between the sciences of biology and physics.
Could get very heated and messy perhaps....

When a butterfly farts in Lakewood, a Native American cries at the aftermath of a Woodstock concert.
