Dare I say the Soviet System of communism was a not really communism at all but a form of totalistarianism [North Korean analogy come to mind] under the guise of communistic ideals...hmmm.. then again maybe not.. welcome to the board Red Star.. should be fun and informative

Dare I say that you never lived under the Soviet System and are basing your bias on the Western painted picture of the Evil Soviet Empire that is always under rule of Stalin like power. In fact the only thing close to totalitarianism, was during the World War II, which as a necessity to preserve the nation. Soviet Union was a very socialist country with freedom and social protections as well as welfare, that have never even surfaced in a hellish place like North Korea.
