"Quantum Critical Shell" circa 2006

Remember this one, it was an awesome theory, I guess they were supposed to send up some satillites to test the theory, but then dust. I haven't heard anything about this theory since 2006 and it was so promising.

Does anybody have an update on this?

I did a cursory search with google and found nothing post 2006 on this subject. I would suggest you shoot a university professer an e-mail on the subject.
