You did: You wanted me to devise a test for it!
The idea that life comes as microbes from other planets IS the pan sperm hypothesis.
PS I suspect lifes origin was in or near what became our sun. (Still only a hypothesis to be tested. No assuption of mine.)

Lol! Thats NOT my hypothesis! Please read what I actually write!
I SAID: Life is older than the planets. How then can I mean that lifes origin is to be found on a planet?
Please go back to post 53 and think it over before continuing the question of where the origin of life is to be found.
IF my hypothesis is true then BOTH Mars and Earth was seeded frome somewhere else!
At the time Mars and Earth were similar. Today Earth has microbial life living in rocks deep underground.
Why shouldnt Mars?Last edited by sigurdV; 06-06-12 at 08:06 AM.

The Mars Reality Show

http://www.universetoday.com/95704/h...-mars-by-2023/
Who will go? Later this year they will begin to take applications and eventually 40 people will take part in a rigid, decade-long training program (which sounds very expensive) where the ‘contestants” will essentially be voted off the island to get to the final four astronauts. The selection and training process will be broadcast via television and online to public, with viewers voting on the final selected four.

Compare this with my (dreamed of) Moon Project:
"We need to populate the solar system...It needs females to do that.
The ordinary picture of space pioneers is vigorous young men...
The company gives a free one way ticket to oppressed and desolate women
fleeing to a relaxed life at a luxuous breeding center at: the Moon!
Men will of course not be denied access but they have problems in getting to this Moonly Paradise.
Most men cant cough up a ten million bucks or so but they can always hope of being a winner in the lottery!

My interest here is to present a fast, efficient, profitable and ethical way of producing space colonists! (More juicy details later
)
I never considered breeding centers for men, but I dont think a woman will be as interested to visit the home of a thousand horny men
as a man would be to visit the home of a thousand horny women!
Unless youre a very rich man your only chance off getting more sex than Djingis Khan is to win the lottery... Will you try your luck?
Will the company get rich enough to continue with the next step on the way to Alpha Centauri?
And folks! This weeks winner iiiiiiiisssssss:
