Emil, I'm trying to be helpful but no, you are not being clear at all. You're being elusive, evasive and vague.
Your responses don't line up with others replies or offers for answers or suggestions.

The best I can say at this point is this: We, as a social order, are feeling our way along. There will be some discourse, some craziness, even. Anyone on here that was around in the '60's can vouch for that.
But in the end, we as people just have not changed all that much. You can't take a news article to mean anything too general and broad.

There are plenty of women out there that want to feel that need.
And if you meet one that says she doesn't need a man- so what? Let her not need one.

There are plenty that feel that they do.

Even your concern on the word "need" is incorrect, word you've used also (in what sense?)

If your opinion is, it not worth to be considered, please allow me to be interested.

We've been asking you what sense you mean. You won't answer. You evade that and ask others what they mean.
Now you claim I used the word wrong.

Neverfly, can you give an opinion about "Women don't need men" without you cry and complain you do not understand the meaning of words?
    Grows up and try.

Emil: Please do not reject help. English is obviously not your native language. Sometimes your posts are difficult to understand. For example:

Neverfly, Please ["please" should not be capitalized] do not help me! You did not help at all, only you messed up. [It should be "you only," not "only you," which means "you are the only person who messed up; everybody else got it right."] Even your concern on the word ["about" the word, not "on" the word] "need" is incorrect, word [should be "a word"] . . . . If your opinion is, it ["if your opinion is that it...] not worth to be considered, ["it is not worth being considered", but "it is not worth considering" or "it is not worth consideration" would be much better.

I do not refuse help, given in good faith. But I've had discussions before with Neverfly and I am sure he is not in good faith.

I wanted: You do not help. The only thing you do is you messed up.

Son, you don't know me well enough to recognize if I'm in good faith or not.

In fact, if I've dealt with you before, I don't remember it.

But if you don't want my input- believe me, I have no qualms of keeping it to myself.
See ya around, Emil (And this time, I will remember you...)

And then there's the circa 1970 feminist saying: "A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle."

(Note:Waxing nostalgic does not necessarily indicate agreement with the statement opined)

I agree with you, Emil a woman is always a mother ( mother loves child and child loves the mother , )

Women often NEED men for various reasons...but they dont WANT men as much as men think.

Check out my previous thread on the subject:

One of the few things upon which Mrs. Fraggle and I agree:
    • No matter how old they are, all men are little boys, and
    • No matter how young they are, all women are mothers.
