There are plenty to chose from on here now. Wow. Did I miss anyone saying volcanoes, global terror, or changing temperature.

Our future complications will revolve around energy. If nothing else, peak oil will mean the end of our "non-negotiable" (in the words of Dick Cheney) lifestyle.

Where do you get “easily” from? Do you just make stuff up as you go along?

    According to wikipedia:

    United States military causalities
    58,220 dead
    303,644 wounded

North Vietnam & NLF military causalities
    1,176,000 military dead or missing
    600,000+ wounded

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vietnam_War
No sensible person would regard that as an easy victory.

I made the same point in post #5 of this thread. But hey, HR, Asguard is my mate, we argue but always keep it light and easy, just the way it should be on these forums, he's just an Aussie and can't spell worth crap, but lay-off! Azzy the Aussie is all right.

Answer was given in post 6: "We have met the enemy and he is us." - Pogo

But Pogo said that more than 100 years after how we self destruct was explained by a Frenchman in his Book Democracy in America

Too many of us cast ballots based on sound bytes and misinformation we receive through partisan news sources.
