Strange objects punching holes in Saturn's rings.
Currently, I am subscribed to a NASA newsletter that sends me interesting things everynow and then. Today, I got this:

Sometimes I wonder if Saturn is a great big space station that is also a super giant Tesla coil, the outer rings being the primary coil, the planet itself a spherical/spiral secondary coil.
After all, Saturn has the most powerful lightning in the solar system. "The lightning flashes [on Saturn] are 10,000 times stronger than lightning flashes on Earth, research team member Georg Fischer, of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, said via email."
