I thought of you as soon as I saw it.

    Hey KJK,

Can I ask you something? You post a lot. Do you get paid for it?

I wish. But I tend to be a home body with to much time on my hands. Do you know when I first started hanging on this forum S.A.M. only had a little over 50,000 posts and now she's over 70,000? It boggles my mind.

The strangest thing is that some people do posting out of habit for years.

The first forum I started in I only ran into one person with over 10,000 posts. When I came over here I couldn't even keep up with all the people over 20,000 post. I almost feel like we should have a little forum party when you get your 30,000 posts.

I'm not sure that's the case at all. I think it has more to do with our current position in life. For me as sad as this might sound. Being on the computer is my only social life. So it's way better than no social life. If things change for me, it's possible I could stop posting altogether.

The advantage of having previously had a social life on the internet is that you'll be able to enjoy much more whenever you have the chance to have a real social life.

I'd think that the amount of daily posts would be more indicative of not having a life. I only post about 9 posts a day on average which, to me, isn't that many as compared to others with 20 posts per day or more. As to not having a "social life" I also think that any form of outside communication with others is just another way that today we can form a social network of socializing and even perhaps actually getting together with others from time to time. People have even gotten married that met online and that only shows that communicating with others in any means can bring about a personal change in anyones life.

I just have a "different" life that others do, that's all. Just because I can't get out and about as I use to do doesn't mean that by coming here and "socializing" with others doesn't fill my needs in my life.
