think about sex
How often does the thought of having sex idly cross your mind?

All the time.. it goes.. hey I can have sex with her.. or is this person interested in me sexually? I wish they would stop being sexually interested in me.

When I was a young man, it was quite the distraction. I'm quite happy that it doesn't influence my thinking as it once did. There's something to be said about age.

Don't know why this thread never "took off".
I will say that I am "young" enough that the thought of sex crosses my mind enough.
Sorry this poll is closed, I would have liked casting my vote.

“The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A Death! What's that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating...
...and you finish off as an orgasm.”

I have two theories in that regard.
1) The North American attitude toward sex is that it's not a general discussion topic on a public forum for most people.
The above is rather odd given that the allure or suggestion of sex is one of the most popular advertising devices in North American culture.
2) Those with a healthy interest in sex are probably in pursuit of same and for those who may be less successful, public admission is not a good strategy, IMO.
If you're walking the walk, you won't be wasting time talking, I'm guessing.

Most people here don't meet later in person. So why not mention something or do the poll (if its open). Some may lie there pants off an we would not know the difference.
In my opinion. Guys think about it more an want it more than most women...

Sex appeal in the U.S. in my opinion is important too. For some people..

People assume there is a greater degree of anonymity in on-line discussions than there actually is. One has no idea of whom may be scrutinizing anything that gets posted on-line.
For anyone in a sensitive position or with career advancement in mind, that is something to consider and they will probably decline to comment on some topics or venues.
Some of the early comments on the this thread certainly made me chuckle though, especiallyDywyddyr It NEVER idly crosses my mind!

I think i missed the vote also..
How often do i think about sex?
every time i see a nice butt.
IOW..TOO often..
and age doesn't make a difference in thoughts..
thinking about it and doing it are two separate things..

My own frequency depends.
The times where I have a good sexual partner who fulfills my needs, then I tend to channel all my energies towards her. It's as if that part of me is 'taken care of' and there is no need for random lust throughout the day.....so the frequency is limited to the times where she is present, and I can actually flesh out my desires with her.
If I DON'T have a satisfactory partner, then I tend to spend a lot of time randomly dwelling on it wishing I did.Last edited by domesticated om; 06-01-12 at 01:07 AM.

How old does a male need to reach before the desires drop a significant amount or will I crave it like I do now till I'm gone?
