On September 11th 2001 an estimated 17,000 people were in the world trade center complex during the attack. Of those 2,977 died. Not much, I had a friend that broke his leg prior to the attacks and the surgery he had the day before prevented him from boarding the flight that hit WTC 1. This was more of a tribute to the firefighters. The way I see it, it takes a lot to run into 100+ story skyscrapers that just got hit by planes in order to evacuate as many people as they could. I just felt like it was the right thing to do.
