get rid of double underlined ads
In the picture below, you can see where i circled the double underlined link that brings up ads when you hover over it. Is there a way to disable this?

It's probably ad-ware on your computer. You might be able to remove it normally.

Yeah, it's my moms computer. But I see it on a lot of newer computers. She's so computer illiterate. I'm trying to make it as user friendly as possible. I'm not sure if it bothers her, but when you hover the mouse over it, a little popup ad appears and i think it confuses her.

It's irritating as hell at any rate. I had it once, but I can't remember how to remove it. I think I simply removed the way you would remove any program (Control Panel/Programs/Programs and Features).
Otherwise I'm afraid you'll need to wait for someone else to offer help.
