glad you liked it.
I still have dreams of reforming. I'm still in touch with our singer/guitarist and drummer - but our keyboard player became a Hare Krishna and moved to New Zealand (like you do), and he was the real musical brains behind the operation - he did all of our arrangements and could play all of our instruments better than we could

Well Mary"s party is tomorrow . I am guessing there will be about 30 musicians there . Her son Max is up from L.A. He produces the music for some H.B.O. series that is said to be popular in young crowds . I didn't recognize the name of it. It should be an extremely fun jam . 2 jazz sax players will be there so I am encouraging my son to bring his sax and get pointers from the pros at de party . If he does I am positive he will surprise the old pros. I don't want to tell my son that cause he can learn from there experience . Things you only can learn from being seasoned .
Ah Yeah Woo Hoo be doo bee do . The band has a gig . The opening of the Potomic Bar east of Missoula on the 30th of July . Grand Opening party . We are the first Band out of 4 I think . Should draw a crowd as it is the infamous Black foot River clean up day and all those cleaners get real thirsty for beer . Thank God for Beer

Here's a novelty piece I did (expresses the Canadian half of my tortured, border-straddling being), followed by a more typical lament of my generation:

Hope you like it. If not, let me know: I'm a Gen-Xer, and I can take the brutal truth a lot more easily than I can take a sweet lie!

These songs were composed and performed by me, and recorded right here in Providence, RI in our MASSIVE Sound Station Seven recording studio on April 24th, 2001.Last edited by Robert Schunk; 08-19-11 at 08:35 AM. Reason: Fuller explanation.

I didn't write or perform this, but a friend of mine did. It's a composition about war. It's a musical theme punctuated by poems about war, from the Civil War to WWI and WWII, and a couple of modern ones.
The first time he previewed this, a US Air Force general and his wife did the narration. Since then he's been invited to perform it all over the world.
I already posted this in Free Thoughts, on the thread about Mothers Of The Fallen. I thought it would be worth posting here also, for a wider audience.
Haskell Small: Lullaby of War
It's broken up into 4 pieces on YouTube, but that's okay because there are natural breaks.

Now the musicbox has expanded to six cd's, containing 88 tracks all toghether. No original artwork however, that as a time limited special edition that only a few lucky ones were smart enough to order.
But still has some tracks on myspace. Would be fun making some new music some time soon, but don't have any equipment anylonger. Let it go to the next generation of musicmakers in the family.
Going to upload it all to Spotify as soon as possible.
