    Twitter 5 years old Today

    I was amazed to discover twitter was 5 today. It started with 8 staff and now has 300. Everyone important seems to have a twitter account now, and I now use it to follow all my newsfeeds from the wire services in real-time. What is thier success down to, and are you one of the flock that tweets? I can be found at @LJ_Brodigan
    I also use it to follow technology and science feeds such as S.E.T.I. and the World Health Organisation.
    Where does this simple yet useful service go in the future?
