If you haven't seen the series Boston Legal, you should watch it. Not sure what episode a lawyer with Asperger's syndrome joined the series is, but if you haven't seen it yet, start with the first season, and I'm sure you will like it enough to watch all the episodes.

The description below is from Netflix, the 28 discs are from 5 seasons with most of the discs having 4 episodes each. William Shatner and James Spader are the main two actors for every episode and they are superb, Also, it's very hard to watch any episode with out at least one or two very good laughs.
Boston Legal 2004 TV-PG 28 discs
Taking a decidedly more comedic approach than its predecessor series "The Practice," this fast-paced drama stars William Shatner and James Spader as partners in the elite Boston law firm of Crane, Poole & Schmidt. The outrageous nature of some of the firm's biggest cases is supplemented by the complicated personal lives of its star attorneys, who are frequently willing to bend the rules for themselves as well as for their clients.
Cast:James Spader, William Shatner, Candice Bergen, Rene Auberjonois, Mark Valley, Julie Bowen, Christian Clemenson, Gary Anthony Williams, John Larroquette, Tara Summers
Genre:TV Courtroom Dramas, TV Dramedy, TV Comedies

hi. mostly here to lurk. i used to post more, but i don't keep up with personalities well, and so many 'faces' are unfamiliar to me. I used to live here (one of *those*), but now I come primarily when I'm torn on political issues and want to see it debated outside of my own head, or in between semesters when i'm feelin frisky.

Hi Bebelina, good to see you. I'll send you a message so we don't carry on in this thread
I liked 9 a lot.. and I think I'm one of the few who loved 8... might be more about the memory of spending a summer playing it though than the game itself. I played ffxi for a while, but it was messy and frustrating. I've bought each of the new games that have come out , but I agree.. something has been lost. I haven't played them much, not like the others where i'd waste a weekend dodging lightning for record chest (ff10) lol.
haven't changed it in ages. and i assure you she caught my attention first.

My oldest son has asperger's syndrome. We playfully called Ass Burger's syndrome until he could get the hang of saying it right. He is only 17 and was diagnosed about 3 years ago. I suspect his father has it too and it could have been at the heart of our marital problems. Miscommunication. At the time I knew nothing about autism or any spectrum disorders. So I took my exhusband's words at face value and never considered the possibility that he was misusing words and sentence structure. As my son grew, and in his father's absence, I noticed his speaking style sounded just like his dad, and with his dad not around, I figured it had to be more than a coincidence.
I am not all that certain that I dont have a mild case of aspergers myself. Considering how difficult it seems to be for me to express myself clearly on this forum, I'm starting to think it's a real possibility. Especially since I prefer to communicate in c++ than in english.

Of course.
I can recommend a good psychiatrist.
It's been years, really, since I played the games.
Part of getting old, I guess.
But I never thought of that- I think it's the memory of my life at the time I played FF7 that may influence why it's top for me. hmmm... I may need to think about that.
FF9 simply because it reverted back to the old style RPG that 6 was...
