I have alot of free time and so i've been watching more and more movies. Does anybody know of any good ones?
:jawdrop: Thanks. I've heard of quite a few of them and seen some, but alot of those i'd never heard of.
TideLand Snatch Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas The Big Lebowski Apocalypse Now Boondock Saints Brazil Caligula Children of Men Clockwork Orange Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Dr. Strangelove Donnie Darko Gummo Hellraiser series Kids LOTR Orphans Pans Labyrinth Pi Pirates of The Caribbean Pulp Fiction Russian Ark Sleeping Dogs Lie The Matrix Begotten Trainspotting Cool Hand Luke 12 Monkeys Blood Diamond Memento Jacobs Ladder Midnight Express The Fountain Underworld One flew over the cuckoo's nest a clockwork orange Old Boy American Psycho Fargo The Quest You could always rent the full seasons of "Six Feet Under". Wonderful show!!! Also, "The Sopranos" was great, as was "Carnivale" Thats pretty much my list!
Anyways, I suggest Space Battleship Yamato when it comes out of Dec. 1st. Also, the new Gundam 00 movie will be awesome, I am looking forward to those two. I don't know what you have and have not watched.
i just watched "man on fire". that was a great movie. so was "the book of eli", "american gangster", "deja vu", and "fallen". i watched a movie called "holy smoke" the other night. that was different. you have to see "bladerunner" if you haven't.
i caught the end of "devil's rejects" the other night, and i wish i had seen the rest of the movie. the ending was pretty bad-ass. good soundtrack too.
Just a few days ago. Good movie. I think Edward James Olmos played a good Asian guy. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Amazing movie. A little confusing, but still good.
I'm not sure that movie was appropriate for you, young lady. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Here's my movie recommendation: Don't see Inception.
Subway. Kick-Ass. Night Watch. Day Watch. Shoot 'Em Up. Armageddon (also known as Deathline - NOT the Bruce Willis one).
I guess I should say something positive. The best movie I have seen recently was: Joshua (2007) IMDB Preview and DL My favorite scene is when he decides to give away all his toys, except for one stuffed bear. His dad is kind of touched by his attachment to his bear, but then Joshua picks up some scissors and cuts it's face off, starts pulling out stuffing. He explains that "in Egypt, when they embalm people like pharaohs, they broke the nose and removed the brain through the opening. They drain the body of all it's fluid on a special stone slab, this guarantees him a glorious afterlife. They chanted something too, but I'm making that part up. [humming]".
