Reflective Universe V.1

Hello all,
I've been bouncing a few idea's around in my little contraband-connective head.
First of all, I'm glad to see that the world is finally coming around to reality.
Second--here's a thought.
The universe exists to us because of light.
Now... the known physical properties of light are well studied. Light is both wave-like, and quantum. Great! But does light slow down? Yes! There is proof of this. If so, does light bend? Of course! If so, does light reverse at some great distance based on temperature (freezing due to lack of space/time)? If so, are we really looking at an infinite number of reflections? Could the heliocentric theory be macro scoped to our understanding of space/time? Setup two mirrors (a very crude example but..) place them face to face? Infinity plus color degradation based on the color and thickness of the glass(to explain red-shift). The Doppler effect etc. Point a speaker at a wall. The speaker will represent earth. The wall will represent the edge of the known, universe- which is by the way really only a space between us and alpha centauri. We can just barely touch the outside of our own solar system. Great! Pudding. Space/Time is flexible right? Could you bend it into spiral; or torus? Yes, this is already a theory, at least the bit about bending S/T, but hear me out. What if at some point in 'our' time, we as logical humans begin to reverse our common perception of being at the center of the universe?

Alpha Centauri is 4.37 light years from Earth. A gamma ray burst was seen at over 13 billion light years away.
