The Maghreb Dream:

maghreb, is those 3 countries, and the second one, the both dark and light bluek, are the large maghreb.

the maghreb union is a union of 5 countries, tunisia, morroco, algeria, libya, and muritania.
what's the maghreb dream, it's a one united country, united economicly, and politicly, it's every one's dream, but it seems to be far from reality, at least at this moment, even that maghrebian countries are always moving for award, and they have a good security level, but tunisia is the highest among them, in economy progress, industry progress to (by 2016 tunisia is an industrual country), also the investements, security, transporations, etc... also the rest of other maghreb countries effcorse, projects and plans that are joint between these countries, trying to approach them to each other more and more...and blablablablabla...
so a question, do you think i's possible?i think everything is possible, anyway, when do you think it will possible? i mean, at least a united economy, knowing that today, each country are developing it's own economy, with carefull steps, maybe when they reach a certin developement level, like, a hight level, they'll unite their economies.i don't know, or is it just a pipe dream?
i'm asking about the hall maghreb, the large maghreb as a hall, and the maghreb that is tunisia and algeria and morroco. anyway, it's all maghreb, so what do you think?

If you all strongly wanted too then you would join together It really is not hard..

There must be a nation in the mix who does not or wants more assurances that they will be respected.

well, i don't know what did you mean with nation in the mixe, or the desidre to be respected, effcorse we respect each other, we love each other, esspecially the small maghreb one, that it is in the dark blue.

What I mean is b4 they merge join a common state, they may want assurance that they will have an = say as to what goes on, I mean if your state is so much further a head as you say, that may give an un fair advantage, they may want to be protected from this.

it may more advanced, but not aot, we are all praticly on the same level, so, a union, it don't even have to be politicial, it can be by opening borders, and uniting the economies, because the political union can be kinda hard, and like you said, one country will have the advantage to hold the capital, but, what if the capital land, or state, would be common between the 5 maghreb states, it belongs to all of the 5 states, or, make it independent, like a new country, i mean, it don't belong to any country, but it belong to the maghreb, but i think the common land is better, but the common land, is not a choise for all the presidents and the king(morroco), so it would belong to the the hall new country president, or, well;, we don't have to unite politicly, we can just unite like europe, economicly, also opening borderes, and coorporations in all domains, that's the best idea, also the 5 states share the same heritage, but just a slight differences, because of some ears in history when each had it's own kingdom or country, anyway, so, a european-like union is better, we already have a union, and it's already moving toward slowly, with slow coorporations advancements, but, it will be their a time where uniting will have to be the only choise for a better developement, or for a stronger and better contiuing

Just who's "dream" is this any way? Is it the dream of all of the countries listed or just a few? If it is a dream of all of the countries then I believe there can be ways to unify them together if they all wanted to work it out as to who is in charge and who isn't.

most people, yes, politians, i don't know, i'm not a fan of politics, but they maked a maghreb union place, i mean, a union for coorporations, but it's moving slowly.

Why can't they just find ways to do business with each other rather than combine them into one? They could remove all import duty taxes or no passports needed as examples.

well, there's a saying says, "arabs agreed not to agree",the only thing arabs agreed on is not to agree, try to take a look at the arab union, of all the arab countries, it's useless, and the gulf kings or prisendent or whatever, only go their to laugh and chat with each other, and some dig for gold in his nose, the presidents of the maghrebian countries never go to any meeting, but rarely, because it's useless, and it's not even serious, the maghreb in general, are isolated from the rest of the arab world, not completly isolated, but, i meant, we're not connected with them, also we don't belong to the middle east, we belong the arab west.
also, don't you think for such combination, needs countries that are almost on the same level? but i think it would be a certin future in this next 10 years, i think in the next 10 years, it will happen.

that's what i'm asking, a union, already exist, economic union, well not totally, but there's many economical projects shared between these countries, from industrilizing to banking, also in energy and envirement sectors.

but when i see my old threads, i laugh at my self how i used to be fooled by the goverment, while i didnt know about the corruption and etc...
maybe if i did, i wan't be so silent, and i would be in jail by now propably
