    Why do we experience time?

Why do we measure the speed of a car in kilometres per hour?

I've been in motion, so I know it's real. Seems pretty obvious. Did you ever seriously doubt it?

    Who's Prof. Barbour?

How can we "experience" anything without time? If our mind moves from one topic to another, that's happening in time, right?

At a guess, Julian Barbour, and the reference would be to this book.

Yes when we move from one topic to another that is in time.
When we walk on the way home we walk in space only.
We experience our walk home in time that is mind model.
