Just a few questions for the rocketry wizards here.

How much was the total payload for the Apollo 11 mission? (I think it was Apollo 11.)

How much could a Saturn V lift?

How much can a shuttle such as Columbia lift?

How much can the Russian shuttle Buran lift?

How much can other modern non-reusable rockets lift?

By now I guess you can see where I'm going with this. Do we still produce machines with the lifting capacity we had back then? For example could we now put people on the moon, with currently available rockets?

Less than the later Saturn V payload capacity of 236,000 pounds.
The maximum launch weight of a Saturn V was 6,423,000 pounds.
The payload capacity of the shuttle is 63,500 pounds. (Among the heaviest single payloads was the Chandra X-ray observatory at 10,560 pounds.) The launch weight of the Shuttle at lift-off is 4.5 Million pounds
    Delta IV = 28,950 pounds
    Ariane V = 39,600 pounds
    Proton K = 45,320 pounds
    Titan IV = 47,800 pounds
    Energia SL17 = 231,000 pounds

    Adam ...

Re. 'How much could a Saturn V lift?'

Roughly 285,000 lb to LEO and 107,000 lb. to the Moon.

That is, if they haven't made some improvements lately.

    Take care
