    I wonder why, for the Japanese, Japan plays such an important role in their religious foundation? It's as if Japan were at the center of everything - as if "Japan" were all important. In a religion about the formation of Earth, doesn't this strike you as a little too centric? Why do you suppose their religion is like this? Does it say anything about people? About the importance of belief? Society?
