    I like the way the forums are structured. It's very easy on the eyes and user-friendly. Maybe I'm just used to this specific format since I've been coming here for years.

    The moderators are way too involved in the micromanaging of discussions. Moderators are flawed people with biases just like everyone else, yet they have the power to stifle discussion based on the idea that they are inherently correct, and on the right side.

    Expressing an idea on Sciforums which contradicts mainstream scientific consensus is an act of futility. It's like trying to light a match underwater. So if that is the intended agenda... congratulations!!! This site should serve as a model for others.

    Get rid of the moderators. The benefit of social order is not worth the cost of loosing our freedom of expression.

    I guess you could say it depended on the "idea" itself.

    If, for example, it has merit, it is discussed. If, on the other hand, it would have reduced baby Jesus to tears, then to stop a flame war and accusations such as 'you're a stoopid head', moderators for said forum will step in.

    I must say though, that thread did produce the best post ever on this forum!

    Anywho, I digress..

    Which is a valid point.

    But then you could become the victim and would have no one to turn to and we could risk losing you..
