Being gay and single in St Louis REALLY sucks!

There are literally no good looking guys here. Ok... so maybe there are a couple but the few that are cute are fags. When I say fags, I mean flamboyant queens who do nothing but get all glittered up, get trashed on Mojito's and Hurricanes, and dance to Britany Spears. Oh, and spent $1000 on the latest shirt from Dolce and Gabana.

There are no real MEN here. No one here, or in the entire midwest for that matter, have anything even remotely close to a complete package.

I really don't require all that much... just...

    1) Have a respecatable job.
    2) Don't live with your parents.
    3) Don't be daddy's little princess.
    4) Not have an alcohol problem.
    5) Don't be overweight.
    6) Don't do drugs.
    7) Don't be desperate.
    8) And for the love of god, don't be a whore. Most of the guys I've encountered have slept with 20+ other guys by the age of 21! That is disgusting! I've slept with 3 and I'm 25!

How hard is that? I'm GAY and I've found more girls than guys in the area that I'm attracted to. That is really sad.

Straight people have it so much easier... so much more options.

It's time to move to a different city.

The gay have their hangout spots here in Atlanta... it's called Piedmont Park and Piedmont Avenue. You'd probably get your ass kicked by a gang if you went anywhere else.

Looks like you may be asking a bit to much there. And as far as Striaght guys go or straight people for that matter it is just as hard to find a keeper for them as I think you are having as a Gay person.

Maybe you're bi? Go date a few girls. They even come with their own built-in lube.

Is that really a scientifically valid test for gayness?

Nature just dealt you a minority card then. I suspect it's hard being gay just about anywhere because most of the population isn't. They do tend to cluster in the Bay Area and maybe you would find more selection there.

    No. But I'm gay. EOS.

I'm never expecting anything or anyone to change for me. That would be ignorant. And I'd love to move; I want to dearly. But I have responsibilities here (like a mortgage and job) that but a bit of a kink in my plans. So until I am able to move, I might as well vent my frustrations along the way.

You know, keeping anger bottled inside can cause cancer.

a mortgage and a job? you can leave both of those behind easily.

keeping anger ;bottled inside' does not cause cancer.

    God doesn't exist? lewl!
Its like sayin Gay doesnt exist.
    Ofc they both exist.
And the first one hates the second for being a fag.
    Its physics.

    Many things cause cancer,including gayness.

    May Prophets guide ur way.

Not really. An instance of "gay" can be produced for any mammal. An instance of "God" cannot be produced, nor can its effects. What can of course be produced are the psychological reasons of why people believe in retarded paranormal concepts and of course evidence that demonstrates claims of specific "Gods" to be false (like Allah for example).

    That's actually a delusion.

Sexual attraction doesn't cause cancer. Anyone with a even a smidgen of education in biology would know that.

I met my boyfriend through--of all places--MySpace. Totally weird.

Before I met him, I was kinda in the market for a boyfriend. On and off. I really liked being a man-whore. I have no regrets. . . luckily. I sometimes even miss it. Trouble is, if you're looking for a significant other, it'll usually elude you. That's true of any proclivity. Must be some cosmic rule.

As for your standards: They are spot on. NEVER lower your standards. You'll just end up miserable. I didn't meet my boyfriend until I was 31. Before that I never had one. The longest relationship I ever had, before that time, was about 60 days. Not exactly healthy, though I wasn't exactly a healthy young man.

I found moderate success on True.com though I hear that Match.com is also great. I went on about four dates. Two were good. Two were horrific. It never totally panned out, but I also never really gave it all I could.

    Hope this helps.
