The Casino Owner (USS Athens) has been keeping a careful, CCTV, eye on the Bodyguard (skaught), so skaught's vote for him does not count. Both the Casino Owner and the Village Idiot decide to arrest the Bodyguard today. The FBI are called to take skaught to the penitentiary. --- The Bodyguard (skaught) is ARRESTED and can play no further part in the game. It can now be revealed that the Bodyguard was the last remaining MAFIA member. People remaining alive: Casino Owner (USS Athens) Village Idiot (unixgeek13) The game has now ended: [size=+3]Townspeople win![/size] Congratulations to the innocent townspeople who survived! At last, Plazmaville is free of the mafia scourge! The people can rest easy again. One final thing: The FBI discovered that the Taxi Driver (domesticated om) was a crazed serial killer that they have been tracking for some time. Although the Taxi driver was NOT a mafia member, he was a killer nonetheless - killing people for his own sick enjoyment. Luckily for the townspeople, the Taxi driver tended to kill mafia rather than innocent people. --- All players can now reveal everything they know about the game and what happened below. To be honest I am just glad its over. It was way to involved for me. Would have been a lot more fun with less players and less twists. Would also have been easier to follow if I didn't wake up every day to like 5 or ten pages to read. *phew*
I read the whole thread last night and concluded BOH was mafia. You I decided from nearly day one - it might have something to do with your avatar lmao
curious.... is there a quick way to determine how many posts each player had? maybe give an award for verbosity?

Yes I didn't want to give the impression that I didn't enjoy it. It was just much more involved than I anticipated and had time for. But it was fun and pretty cool. Thanks james.
I had a lot of fun running the game, though it took me a LOT more time than I thought it was. Keeping track of 16 players and all the various actions that were allowed was a bit of a headache. I ended up creating a spreadsheet to help me remember who had done what, who had voted for who, and so on. I must say, it was fun to watch people's conversations and reasoning processes about who was mafia and who wasn't. It seems to me that the town was a bit lucky to win, because they didn't use all the available information, or even look at voting patterns and things until quite late in the game. Still, it must have been difficult not knowing who was leading you down the garden path. The taxi driver was a real asset to the town. I don't know if this was by accident or because domesticated om had a good eye for who was mafia. On the other hand, domesticated om, as the taxi driver, had his own aim: stay alive to the end and kill everybody else. Unfortunately for him, phoenix2634 decided to take him out when he was killed (even though phoenix2634 didn't know om was responsible at the time).
